I just can't stop watching this video. We are so small, and the universe is so awesomely big. And beautiful.

Saj you look like a boy and you're cute. I think you should be named Fenix now.

That would be the most BAMF name ever.

Other than "Magus" of course.  ;)

It is BAMF (in both senses of the phrase) because it is Executor Fenix from Starcraft of the Templar Tribe Akilae. He is a Zealot and Dragoon, and one of the most passionate warriors there are. He is a beautiful and honourable character, and his is a sad story.
When I get OLD and have kids, if I have a son, I shall name him Fenix.

Sorry, Zeph, but I'm afraid the most BAMF male name in existence would have to go to Teddy Roosevelt. No, not Teddy, not Theodore, not Roosevelt, the ENTIRE FRICKIN NAME!

Enough said.

Fenix is one thing that Teddy Roosevelt is not: Blue And Mighty Fine! Teddy would have to be a 300 year old alien to reach this level of awesome.

Who's to say he isn't?  ;)

Actraiser II music for the WIIIIIIIN!

I've never heard of these Gummi Bears of which you speak. Why, back in my day, we only had the Care Bears. And the Berenstein Bears.

Nah, Gummi Bears were around. I think they were on right after David the Gnome.

Ah, yes, David the Gnome! I named a character "Swift" in honor of that show.

Look around you, there are many things to see
That some would say could never be!

Of course, that's a generic enough sentiment that you could take it to mean almost anything, but I like it anyway. All my experiments to create singing fish, however, have thus far run into massive complications and setbacks.

Gummi Bears was seriously on right after David the Gnome!? Jeez, I wonder how I missed them? I can only imagine my lack of Gummi memory had something to do with that little thing called the Nintendo Entertainment System...

Silly videogames, pushing out healthy activities like watching TV.  :D

I sent the link to this comic (first discovered in the frustration thread) to my father, who is a professor, and I got this response::

Quote
Saj,

That’s really funny!  I am going to bookmark it in order to more effectively waste time that I should use for work!

BTW, I sent the link on to all my fellow Doctor friends.

Love,

Dad.

I'm glad he got such a kick out of it!  :D

"Love" is excessive for this, but it's not really an amusement: Milk and honey. It's not just the drink of the ancients. It actually tastes pretty darn good. I imbibe the stuff on occasion...usually when I have run out of conventional desserts. There's a reason that the milk and honey symbolism is so powerful. If you like other sweetened dairy products, you can imagine what this is like...but until you taste it for yourself you aren't going to know the sublime complements of cow juice and bee juice in holy unison.

Easy to make for guests, and likely to impress. Just stir the everloving jiminy cricket out of the stuff, and your work is done. Try three tablespoons of honey to one cup of milk for starters, and adjust upward from there either the honey or the milk.

I'll have to try that, seeing as I have both access to fresh milk AND honey (quite a shocker, since I rarely have food around!).

Was the "land of milk and honey" Canaan?  That's just a random question, not necessarily for J.  Thought should know, heh.  Hell, -I- should know.  My old Sunday school teachers are weeping and gnashing their teeth in despair.

And also...Happy Ash Wednesday?  XD

(Sajainta = atheist, btw.)

Hmm...

Never had milk and honey together.  Always had them separate.

Wonder what would happen if I tried having them together:

...something along those lines.
