Stuff you LOVE, baby
« on: February 26, 2007, 06:32:14 pm »
After search and review, I just can't find BZ's Things That You Love topic. I'm making a new one.

There's nothing to hate about Virgin's giant bid at realizing commercial space travel. But here's something to love! Taken from a Time article:

Quote
You could understand why the chairman of Virgin Atlantic Airways would be interested in an orbital passenger jet. But why invest in what now looks like the world's most expensive amusement-park ride? "I hope that people going into space will come back and appreciate this beautiful world more," says Branson, turning philosophical about man's future on Earth. You almost believe him until he flashes that grin and adds, "If worst comes to worst, the Virgin moon sounds pretty good. We'l colonize it!" Then Branson walks off the beach at Necker, shouting, "King Richard of the Moon! Lord Richard of the Galactic!" I swear, he means it.

RICHARD BRANSON IS A ZEALITY!!!!!

LIVE PASSIONATELY, EVERYONE!

I hear you loud and clear, that guy is freakin' awesome!

I love the feeling my life revolves around: freedom. The feeling of having no limitations or boundaries, no rules or people to tell you what to do, it all makes life worth it. There is no experience like running out into the wind and enjoying every second of it.

Working on Chrono Trigger+.

Seriously. This is turning into a boatload of fun, if tiring.

Also, I'm a major Trekkie, and a big Stargate fan as well. (What do you call fans of Stargate? Gaters?)

O, how true.

And, complementarily, the feeling you get after eating a perfect meal that hits the spot just right.

And the feeling of stretching, which beats the other two combined and is even better than sex.

Speak for yourself, Lord J esq.

It's also great to be the cook being complimented on the perfect meal that, to quote the admin posting above, "hit the spot just right."

If only one could run, stretch, eat, and have sex at once. For my part, the post run feeling is the only of those that I don't enjoy, but that's asthma for you.

Although, if I'm reckless, the eating and the sex could also lead to unpleasant burning sensations as well.
