General Discussion / Possible ressurections?

With Romancing Saga 2 remastered, SE hinted the possibility for IP resurrection. Perhaps we could see Break come into fruition due to the success of the switch? I can't leave out ther systems, but it be nice to see remastered games with added detail. Not like that abomination of FFV and FFVI on android?

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / New Masato Kato 2015 interview

Yes, it's about Chrono Break (or Chrono Reflections) regarding on the final trilogy.

Question: Let's talk about Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross if you will. When did you think about a sequel or a new story set in the same universe? Did you think there were certain aspects of Chrono Trigger that were worth going into in more depth or explored further?

Answer: I'm going to make a confession: when I finished writing Chrono Trigger, I felt a huge relief! (Laughs) Incidentally, shortly after, I took up the writing of Radical Dreamers and the first idea I had was to make a game that would follow the adventures of a band of thieves. I also had the image of a manor in mind. I started writing and writing, without thinking much and when I reached the last step of the plot, I started feeling some doubt: was the epilogue I was unfolding the right one? That's when I realized, for the first time, that what I was writing was the story of Schala and Magus. (Laughs)

As for Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, I wanted to imagine an episode that would conclude a trilogy and take place shortly after the events of the first game. I thought of the following lead: Kid and the others have to go help Crono, Marle and Lucca, who were then in great dangers. In the end, it was some sort of "all-star"! (Laughs) That said, I have the following principle: the past is the past, and it should be left behind. You have to let go. To lay new foundations. To move on. Nevertheless, if I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure Square Enix suggested the possibility of a project titled Chrono Break. But I wasn't part of it, so I'm not in the best position to talk about it. In fact I don't have any other information on this topic.

And so, Kid, Serge, Crono, Lucca, Frog and Janus are gathered together
in one chamber, Zurvan the sea of time is awakened, the curtain rises on
the final battle.

Chrono Reflect

I would like to have this story individually spun.
Yours respectfully.

Harle originally had a send off FMV,but cut due to time constraints.

News Submissions / Lets get Crono in smash!

Today Iwata revealed in the Nintendo Direct how we could put a character  in the ballot from any game. This would be the perfect opportunity  for Chrono Trigger's 20th anniversary to get Crono in the game. Please note that there may be other characters worth putting in like Lloyd Irving in Smash bros. It will take a wholesome time.  Happy April and hopefully Crono embarks through Time and Space to join the gang.

If you see the success of Square Enix's cash cow Final Fantasy Theatrhytm and the soon to be released Curtain Call, it wouldn't hurt to have a Chrono rhythm themed game correct? Why the hell not? I mean, what if they made the new ending on the DS release with Magus encountering a troupe (that's another term for theater people right?) and he dons the infamous Guile costume. Searching for clues of his past and his long forgotten sister, He travels across space and time to reach the depths of music spanning from Trigger, Radiacal Dreamers, and Cross. Oh, and the cast can join. Hey, it wouldn't hurt to leave out Mana, Dragon Quest or any other SE series. What would you think needs to be in the playlist if a Chrono rhythm type game happened?  Oh my god I just remembered, Nikki has a band.

characters; spekkio (Nu version), Kilawwa, Johnny

I would posted this on Chrono news, but I'm not that much of a writer, so perhaps we might get a Cross generation Final Fantasy/ Chrono Trigger Dissidia type of game?

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Future of the Chrono series

This got me thinking, what if they made a Chrono Rhythm game? If would work like FFTR for the 3DS, but with music from the CT, RD, and CC games.

With only three issues left before our childhood friend leaves us behind to say goodbye for nearly 25 years, someone else decided to drop by in the nick of time with these fascinating sculptures of the Chrono Trigger cast featuring; Marle, Lucca, and Ayla with some cool jungle scene featuring their triple tech, Poyozo Dance. Reminds me of the sculptor here who made those Gaspar and Glenn sculps.

We are one month away from the expiration date of Chrono Brake/Break for Japan; July 23, 2012.

Will Chrono ever see the light of day for a third series? Some say good things come in three's so who knows?

( Legends 3, Chrono 3, a game that deserves a sequel 3 ..... 2013? )

General Discussion / FFVI for 3DS in celebration of 25 years?

found this link on another board;layout=2&eotf=1&

The logo for FFVI and the gradient for 25th anniversary share the same gradient. Mog looks suspiciously similar to the art in the 25th anniversary logo. I hope they don't skip FFV. Say, when does Cross turn 15?
