This is gonna sound crazy, but what font did you use for the "Crono...wake up sleepy head!" line at the beginning? I like that font.

2. How did Marle and Crono control those balloons like that??  :shock:

1. It's not restarting... I just made a prologue.
2. Magic

I wanted to release this to see if I would get the recognition of... oh look who came back, sweet.

Doesn't look like I am getting it, so I am done with flash and my rpg project if it stays this way. Reviews and such keep me going and I don't get them. It also kills me that this story is one of the better thought out ones and I get no acknowledgement without trying to advertise for myself.

I've had to ask for the help rather than people discovering me and wanting to help.

That's how it's always going to be. Trust me. I get shit now that I changed my title to CT2.

Well Lance you have had some help without asking.

You released Chrono Alter and everyone on here went apeshit, needless to say it's a good game.

I just get no recognition and that's why I don't want to do any work anymore.

does this mean crystallis is off? cuz I've been working on orchestrating CT and whatnot, and I even have a few tracks done.

The rewarding meat of a creative act is always how much you enjoy the creation itself. Any attention you get for doing it is merely icing on the cake, and a matter of luck anyway. This is the mindset an artist needs to be in, so long as getting the word out to absolutely everyone who might be interested is a terribly inefficient process these days.

That said, your flash skills are an incredibly impressive artistic asset, especially when considering the battle system you've implemented in several episodes. I'd hazard a suggestion that you market yourself to larger Flash project teams and refer them back to the best of your Chrono Apocalypse work. I'd love to see you team up with a big group and show 'em how it's done.

What exactly larger Flash teams are there in the Chrono scene that you think he's going to market himself to? If it's about sprite animation teams in general, they usually consist of one animator and multiple various custom sprite makers (if they have extra help at all). I personally know he isn't a master custom sprite maker, so I can't see them actually being much interested in him... unless he was offering to do the animation for someone with a script but no animator. As for CTU itself, it still has an animator... it's the writer that it recently lost.

I just want it to be known that I didn't mean to maliciously piss on any Cheerios by saying that, it's just that I know that there really aren't any current sprite projects - barring those thay don't have an animator at all yet - that are looking for assisant animators right now.

I had no intention of suggesting neo-fusion should limit himself to Chrono. The "script but no animator" situation would probably be ideal, if there happened to be a forum somewhere connecting people looking for writers with people looking for Flash animators. I was wondering, for example, whether there might be a static sprite comic team that want to take their series to the next level. Heck, if there isn't, I'd be interested in teaming up with him for a small one-off project if he's looking for that sort of thing.
