That walking sprite is utter perfection. Just needs a bit of a hair bounce. What happens to her hair when she walks in Chrono Trigger as an NPC?

Almost nothing... she walks very levelly, with great posture and such... much like any other royalty, Nadia notwithstanding...

Correction "nothing" happens with the hair

could you by any chance, animate Lucca's original sheet and place it next to the Neo-Schala sprite...

I want to compare both walk animations side by side. It's a good way to determine precisely what may or may not be negligible in the final product... My guess is that not much head movement is necessary in the north/south walking animations, becase the sprite will be moving up or down the whole time... (if the head is already moving down, it won't seem like its not bobbing enough)

This works in some games, in others it doesn't... hence I need to see how much Lucca's head moves.

EDIT: Haha, you should hack an ending where Crono marries Schala instead of Marle XD;

I'll be damned, yeah, Schala's hair moves just a bit in the left/right animation, and not at all in the north/south walking animation. Keep in mind though, that Schala's entire body sort of bobs up and down by about a pixel or so, which hides the need for extra hair animation.

Haha that would be funny Schala marrying Crono and having Marle just standing to the side

Notice how the hair sorta looks like it's shining
