I was gonna submit it for the contest... but after multiple ideas failing I stuck with something that rips off the flick "The Foutnain"'s movie cover and some too big... ah well, hope you like it anyways. =/

Whoa, really nice! This realistic style reminds me of these artworks for SNK games like The King of Fighters series, etc. I like how your pic is realistic and yet it has a sort of "made with pencil" style at the same time which is reminiscent of the Chrono Cross artworks... I think you could really have submitted it for the contest (never seen "The Fountain" personally). Congrats. And welcome to the Compendium too :)

Because I am unoriginal I will just say that I agree with Chrono'99. On everything.

I visited your gallery a few days ago when I was searching for some Baten Kaitos fanarts and I didn't have noticed that awesome Chrono Cross fanart. Congrats and thanks, another great pic on my desktop now.

Yeah, just chiming in to say wicked fantastic art. The inspiration from The Fountain is obvious but it still manages a very "Chrono" feel--it really captures the "made for each other but for the moment destined to be torn apart" vibe of Cross, which I guess is present in The Fountain as well. So good choice of source material too!

That's really cool. Widen out the colored bars on the sides, and it could make a sweet wallpaper.

I thought there was a FFVIII pic that was similar to this idea as well...maybe I'm remembering wrong...

I know this comment is very late, but I wanted to tell you just how beautiful this image is.  It's absolutely breathtaking!  The subtle transition in color, the stars, and the exquisite detail!   :)
