Meeting Schala, huh?

Schala: "Hello."
Moi: "Hi!"
Schala: "So you're the one who freed me?"
Moi: "Yup!"
Schala: "..."
Moi: "..."
Schala: "You must be really pathetic, meeting VG characters instead of real people."
Moi: "I... guess so."
Schala: "I'm sorry, I don't talk to pathetic people. I did that in Zeal and it didn't help me one bit. Goodbye."

NOOOOOOO! Come back!

Well, One theory is that (mine) is that Lavos was draining her energy, and DNA, which caused her eyes and hair to lose colour. Other people says it's a dye... Lavos can't steal dyes... lol. And the dye thing wouldn't hold up because of the eye colour thing.

Dyes fade with time, however.  Plus, it doesn't grow with hair.  Of course, the question would remain how the hell did she cut her hair?...  I prefer the fade route.  Of course, any sort of radiation can affect all that stuff as well.

But what happens when you live in the DBT?

The shot with Kid (I prefer this from Schala) in Tokyo has a simple explanation... The CC staff probably was very happy that they finished this great game and thought that it would be continues, so this shot could be something like "what may happen in CB". Or "Kid might be one of us". Or that there is a Kid, a Crono, a Serge among us.

I'd love to extract the intro and the credits FMV from the disc.

What??? FMV in CT??? Excuse me for not speaking the PSX lingo, but I thought that SNES didn't have FMVs. It seems that I haven't completely understood what FMV means...

He's referring to the PSX bonus FMV, I think.

Probably an FMV from PSX version of Chrono Trigger that was included as a part of Final Fantasy Chronicles, in which they added anime FMVs to the game.

FMV = Full Motion Video. Another name for "cut scene" if you will. And just for the record, CG = Computer Generated.

You should know that, man! The very avatar you're using came from an anime cut scene from the PSX version of Chrono Trigger!

No, his avatar is a Toriyama artwork made for the PSX version ads and manuals, but it doesn't appear in an FMV.

Yeah, I was talking about the FMV.

Deweys:
There are things that disprove that theory. I already said why. 1) why would her eye colour fade and her hair? There's obviousally something that's draining her, so it can't just be hair dye.
2) Janus' hair never fades.......
3) No proof that it was hair dye and not natural.
4) There are people who have blue hair naturally... Serge, Riddle.
5) Time error would cause it so that not a lot of time would have passed, not 13,000 years. So the hair should be normal.

And how do we know that Serge and Riddel didn't dye their hair as well? I don't know anybody who is born with blue hair.

In a fantasy world, like in a video game, things can happen that wouldn't naturally happen in reality.

Like having hair colors that don't naturally occur in reality.

Because it's fantasy, and not reality!

Unless of course, you've lost touch with reality...or you're too far engrained in reality.

Where else on this board was there a thread specifically about this particular topic...?

Then peoples hair could turn different colours if their power was drained then. :P

Lavos would have drained her pigments for her to lose the colour... Or maybe there was some chemical reaction when he tooks over her brain that caused it? Maybe Lavos is a blonde at heart.

1) Because it grows out.  More in #5...
2) Sure it does.  Magus was perfectly capable of dying his hair.
3) Isn't it said in the jap version that everyone dyes their hair blue?
4) No argument there, but I still stick by her hair being dyed.
5) Not a lot of time, but compared to 13,000 years, could be a hundred years.  Even the common belief of "one year" is enough to grow out a good portion of it.

It's funny that everyone talks about her hair, but never really mention her age.  She's what, 17, 18, 19 in CT?  In CC she seemed to be about 8 or 9 in the actual game, and closer to 16ish in the movie.
