General Discussion / Re: The $%*! frustration thread
« on: May 01, 2009, 02:02:41 am »
Frustration sucks. What I hate most at the moment is the very thing that makes humanity not so pointless: compassion, comfort and down right love. Plus or minus a little pity. The thing I hate most, and I know this out of a whole 14 years of life experience, is that when I'm frustrated and full on pissed at something, people try to cheer me up! It's horrible! I don't want them to be sorry for me. It's just a bunch of crap to me because all I want to do is be in my own little corner when every little nook and cranny is filled with people. Ugh... A least I get to go to bed now.

Ando is basically an ultra battery. He can super charge other peoples powers just by touching them and can also shoot lightning. He's just doing what anyother little kid would do if they got super powers. He'll freak out at first, then go wild over them(which he's doing right now), but since he's an adult he'll eventually get seriuos.

Yeah, I know it was a joke. I just quoted you so that if anyone else posted before me(which they did) we could stay on that subject. It was more or less directed towards people who think global warming will end the world if we don't set are selfs on it.

But then again, maybe global warming will raise the ocean levels sooner than expected...I've always wanted seaside property.

Dude, I'm sorry, but wether global warming is real or not it's a natural weather pattern of the earth. It happens. Yes, we should be more selfconcious about adout the ecosystem and help out making things better. But no, we shouldn't focuse our lives around it. Every living thing on the earth adapts, including the earth itself. We may not know what's coming for our earth's future, but I'm pretty sure we're not going to get vaporised by UV rays. Soon enough, a new wether pattern will come up and we'll deal with other problems. But for all those that are worried about global warming, in the meantime suck it up and get on with your life.

Chess. I challenge any and ALL!
I dare you to take on Parker. He will make you cry in shame.

Honestly, I don't care if I win or lose, or who I play. I lost horribly to a rival the other day, and all I wanted to do was play again just for the sake of playing.

And chess is good, though I haven't played in years... Online game sometime?

If I can find a website to do that on.

Don't worry Nerd. As far as dreams go, that could mean you're going to eat a lot of serial cereal.

Regarding the Nicktoons 'no power for one minute' deal, it actually takes a lot more energy to turn things off and turn them back on than it does to keep them going. Plus, there were E-surence commercials advertising that there would be an upcoming date where EVERYONE would turn off all their power and energy for one hour. This could possibly waste even more energy than keeping it going(and could leave the U.S. totally open for attack, but that's just conspiracy theory talking). Though I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

So what did everyone do to be green? Honestly, I didn't do much for it, but did anyone else do anything?

I dreamed that I got a new laptop I've been saving for. :P

When I woke up I was like, hey wait where's my laptop? It took me a while to realize I had a dream :P

I hate those dreams. I've noticed that two classes of dreams are the most realistic and detailed for me: the first class are dreams where I get something that I had been wanting for a long time. When I wake up, I become acutely aware that it was only a dream and life still sucks.

I remember having a dream like that. When I was 7 or 8 years old, there was this really cool transformers toy I wanted to get for a while. I had a dream(several actually) that I had finally gotten it. When I woke up, I was disapointed until I actually got about three or four weeks later. As for why I had several dreams about getting it all in one sleep could be explained that I tend to usually have several dreams all at once that don't relate to each other at all. It makes one heck of an epic dream.

Yeah, I agree with your mom. That dream was about you in a chat room with a computer hacker. To make sure the dream doesn't happen, maybe you should try turning off your computer and do something else every once in a while. Your computer can't be hacked when it's completely shut down.

Yeah, maybe not. But it'll definetly be 1-uped someday.
