It's amazing how childhood training can colour one's thoughts. I love it when the snow arrives late, as it did this year (in fact, it showed up just this Sunday), because I grew up in an area where there's normally snow on the ground five months of the year.

Seeing how I live in California, I too have to drive a couple of hours up to the mountains to see the snow (as opposed to a few hour seeing how I live right next to the foot hills).

Still, snow is too beautiful for words.  If it isn't, I hope I never find out.

Blue hair color and piercings...

What next, Sajainta, if you're currently on a roll?

You forgot my four tattoos.  8)

I think I'm done with piercings, actually.  I have six--twice in each ear, my nose, and my labret (which is the piercing below my lip)--and I think that's enough for me.

And I'm going to keep dyeing my hair until my roots grow back.  :D

And your four tattoos.

Can't forget those, either.

Let's see; December 3. What was I doing on December 3 in 1993?

December 3, 1993

My dog could jump over the fence that kept him in the kitchen. The night before last night I got my Christmas lights up. We still need to put the tree up.

Haha, I love that my second grade journal the school made my class keep is intact.

That's awesome!

I've been keeping a journal pretty much non-stop since I was 10, so I understand the giddy glee of reading decade-old entries.  :)

Stuff I love, let's see I like Chrono Trigger, comic books, my friends, reading, Buffy, Angel, anime like Fullmetal Alchemist and Big O. I love Beetlejuice.
But my real passion is animals. I find animals interesting. My favorite animals are cats.
I also like sleeping late into the afternoon.

^ I love Betelgeuse...  though I have a funny picture with Beetlejuice when I went to Universal when I was 8. lol I should upload that.

Anyway, Betelgeuse is in the orion constellation. I just learned that somewhat recently. So I can always find it! It literally means "the armpit of orion". So if you find orion's armpit, you find a red giant, what our own sun will be in 5 billion years : ).

I love constellations and astronomy sooo much <3. I think I'm gunna go on my quest to find Canis major again. Sirius is so bright that at least I can see it now.  Here's something cool which I hope some of you guys will find interesting:

Only mild problem for me is that it doesn't use the latin names which I'm used to.

I love this article:

http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2009/12/new_agers_and_creationists_sho.html

Quote from: Money Quotes
New Age beliefs are the Creationism of the Progressives. I move in circles where most people would find it absurd to believe that humans didn't evolve from prehistoric ancestors, yet many of these same people quite happily believe in astrology, psychics, reincarnation, the Tarot deck, the i Ching, and sooth-saying. Palmistry and phrenology have pretty much blown over.

They were raised to avoid religion and politics at dinner parties with strangers. Yet they assure everyone they are "a typical Gemini," were royalty in a previous lifetime, have a personal spirit guide, and have been told they will develop a serious disease but will recover from it. I rarely hear anyone share that they were a toilet cleaner in a previous lifetime and have a year to live at the most.

And if a candidate has a spirit guide, consults his or her Chart and takes more than a passing amusement in the horoscope, that candidate should not be elected President.

I love the snow. The snow is an amazing thing.

However, where I live, it never sticks IF it does happen to snow.

So it's a rare sight here. All the more to cherish it.

Tell me the location to meet for the trade, the price (I will be haggling), and the time.

*laughs*

I wish.
