So

like

I'm hung up over bs

And I'm waiting in this comedy club I've never been in before.  And I get three minutes.

And get booked for a show coming up next week.

Very shiny and red! I don't pretend to know much about cars outside the Toyota Camry range of luxury, but that certainly looks like a ride you can have a lot of fun in. =P

Quote
A goth youth with white hair and body piercings walked into my store and shoved several hundred dollars (several tens of thousands of yen) into the disaster relief fund donation box. As he walked out, I and people around me heard him saying to his buddies, “I mean, we can buy those games anytime!” At that, we all opened our wallets and put our money into the donation box. Really, you cannot judge people by their appearances.

This earthquake has reminded me of that Japanese goodness that had recently become harder and harder to see. Today I see no crime or looting: I am reminded once again of the good Japanese spirit of helping one another, of propriety, and of gentleness. I had recently begun to regard my modern countrymen as cold people … but this earthquake has revived and given back to all of us the spirit of “kizuna” (bond, trust, sharing, the human connection). I am very touched. I am brought to tears.

*wipes tear*

Reading the page in a 1920x1200 monitor, everything looks so good at that resolution. I can see the websites I design in its entirety, no scrolling. I wish I could take this baby home and use it while making my fanarts, he he, but it's for the work only

I'm a total antiquiphile who loves the scent and feel of books, but damn it, I love the e-reader my mom got me!

It makes me feel like I have a Computer Book, like Penny from Inspector gadget.

Just saw the music video for "Eye of the Storm" today. Not sure why I love it so much -- probably the simple sense of mystery it invokes. A must-watch for anyone remotely into steampunk, and generally cool things.

This video.  The most amazing thing in the world.  I want to marry the people who came up with this brilliance.

I have found the greatest thing.

If the 80s had nothing but this song, it still would have been the greatest decade.

After much trial and error, one of my characters scored 130 in the Mary-Sue Litmus test! Perfect!  :D Funny enough, the character wasn't even based on me, nor is the character someone I'd like to become.

This should suffice for my goal. I know critiques are going to hate me for my decision, but implore: wait for it!  8)

If you don't know how bad Score 130 would be then read this:
Quote
0-10 points: The Anti-Sue. Your character is the very antithesis of a Mary-Sue. Why are you even taking this test?

11-20 points: The Non-Sue. Your character is a well-developed, balanced person, and is almost certainly not a Mary Sue. Congratulations!

21-35 points: Borderline-Sue. Your character is cutting it close, and you may want to work on the details a bit, but you're well on your way to having a lovely original character. Good work.

36-55 points: Mary-Sue. Your character needs some work in order to be believable. But despair not; you should still be able to salvage her with a little effort. Don't give up.

56-70 points: Über-Sue. You've got one hell of a Mary-Sue on your hands here, and it's not going to be easy to set things right. But do your best. There may be hope for you yet.

71 points or more: Irredeemable-Sue. You're going to have to start over, my friend. I know you want to keep writing, but no. Just no.

EDIT: What's most amusing is that another of my well-developed character is an Anti-Sue. Yeah, received only 6 points. I guess I should be proud of that too.

Miyabe, Miyabe; what do you seek?
Hunt for the night in a land so bleak?
And the hunt ran for dear life,
But hunger conquers love and strife.
Run, Miyabe! The monster is in tow.
Strength is unmatched; only deceit will follow.
Stand pompous for your payback is due
to the monster; "Hahaha! Screw you!"
And yet your tricks have no effect
On the hunting prey that hunters neglect.
Lo, Miyabe, the moral stays true!
Don't mess with those bigger than you.

LET'S DO THIS!!

 :)
