Saw Avengers last night at midnight. Best Hulk Ever. No spoilers from me though.

I went with friends and we planned this(I'm Hawkeye):

What do you guys think of the film?

Just saw it... It was great. Up there with the first Iron Man for sure.

I'd love to see the new Amazing Spider-Man also take place in this "Marvel movie-verse"... But here's to hoping!

Whedon did an amazing job (as always). Some of the reviews I've read were that Hawkeye was underutilized... but I think that he came out being the biggest badass of them all. No superpowers whatsoever and he held his own easily (better than Black Widow, but then again, she was a spy and not a soldier).

Also, Mark Ruffalo = best Bruce Banner. By far. He had that right amount of charm, charisma, and depth to pull off the character. He came off as challenged yet not too mopey. And the Hulk was a riot. That's how the Hulk should be: vicious, animalistic, and quick.

LOOOOOOOVED IT.

You're beaten by an Indian, here.

But I'm with Saj: you and your friends are so awesome. xD

I hated the fact that Hawkeye was the most underdeveloped character in the film, besides the Loki / Black Widow conversation, but as Boo said he was obviously the most BADASS of the lot. He lived up to his name, and never missed a mark.  8)

*looks at photo* Is that the cutest Mjolnir ever? Though frankly speaking, I'd give anything to have that Captain's shield!

Avengers more than lives up to the hype.  I loved every second of it.

I didn't think Hawkeye was underdeveloped.  He played a significant role through much of the film, he just didn't have much dialogue.

Be sure to stay for the credits, especially if you're a Marvel nut.  I won't say why.

I lost my interest with super hero movies after seeing the 2007 Superman movie.

Your loss, because there have been a few greats out there. Enjoy being the only one not to see the Avengers (hahaha)! :)

I don't like Superhuman Mary Sue catching thieves and muggers throughout the movie with no development. I like watching Gods, Engineers, Geeks, Monsters, Soldiers and Spies duking it out both physically and emotionally. XDDD

I'll be seeing it tonight with some friends. When I asked some friends of mine who had already seen it what my level of anticipation should be, they told me I should go in costume. So I have high hopes.

It was awesome. Just wow. O_O They made Hulk--not just Bruce Banner, but HULK--into a likeable character.

Also Joss Whedon did it.

I am completely late to The Avengers bandwagon--having only just seen it yesterday--but wow.  I'm usually very skeptical of movies everyone raves about, since most of them turn out to be very disappointing (coughcoughInceptioncough), but I'm happy that all the raving about this one wasn't over-hyped.  I'm not a fan of superhero movies, but I really, really liked this movie.  It was surprisingly well-balanced for such a large cast.  That was really impressive.  The Reindeer Games comment killed me.  Completely killed me.  Then I was brought back to life only to be killed again by the Legolas one.

I don't think anyone could hear the line after that because everyone was laughing so much.

I saw it a few weeks ago.  It is a good, memorable movie and Whedon is an excellent director, but I didn't find this movie to be the greatest thing since sliced bread that everyone else seems to think it is.

It may not be the best movie ever, but that was definitely the best the Hulk has ever been portrayed on film.
