More shameless self-advertising! Because I keep getting better and better! You thought those strawberries were good? PAH! Wait till you see my "Heroic" self-portrait!

Links this time, because there's a lot!

BIOLOGY CLASS:
Miscellaneous assignments that turned out well:
Philosoraptor
Frog Legs

These guys were my Final project
Endomorph
Mesomorph
Ectomorph
All Together!

TONE, COLOR, and COMPOSITION:
Midterm: Same class as the strawberries!
Morning
Noon
Night

FIGURE DRAWING:
Midterm: Two pairs of hands and one pair of feet:
Tentative (line)
Solid (value)
INK FEET WOO also a leg

Final: Four self portraits. More info in the descriptions.
Fear
Romance...now you know what Red and I look like! And the answer is adorable~<3
Tragedy
Heroism

The scanner killed the values on the last one but only in the sky so I'm ok with it.

Aaaah~I got a B+ in Figure Drawing, now I just gotta wait for my other grades...the site is down so I can't see them! :<
Also I couldn't post my TC&C final because I didn't have time to get a picture or scan it so you'll have to wait till later I guess! It's not as good as the figure drawing ones from a technical standpoint bu~ut I'm okay with it because I have blue hair and all the things wrong with it I know to not do in the future.

Endomorph, Mesomorph, Ectomorph...you must add a Xenomorph to those one day!

That is a totally awesome Samurai drawing too. I love that pose -- you know a Samurai's thinking deep thoughts when he's leaning on his sword and staring off into the distance!

Ahaha, I wish! He just wanted humanoid body types, otherwise I definitely would have thrown one in there!

Whew. Here's some of the stuff I've been doing for summer practice, among other things.

Actual Practice:
I had green hair. It's faded to golden-blonde now, though. (self portrait in colored pencil and ink)
Color combo practice. I invented mushroom zombies as a kid. They are the best kind.
Rune cave, my personal favorite. Quick sketch turned into a six-hour endeavor.

Fun Stuff:
Did I mention I am a big fan of Lolita fashion?
Planned costume for Steamcon; The theme is monsters, and I'm going to wear it with my crow mask.
The Stump outside my house. I PS'd them for coolness, but they were pretty damn cool to start with.

Green hair? Awesome! The only other thing you're probably missing is a Masamune, and Squire's leather-armour.

Speaking of art, I've also been practising and enhancing my traits for the past few months now, although I think I'm just not good enough. I need to be better.

Here's a painting that reflects my artistic evolution, one I did for Walt Whitman's (and Caro's) birthday that emphasizes who he is, she is and I am (me being the Phoenix in that picture). The painting was done completely with open-source tools.

With a bit of spare time at hand, I decided to draw a bit (it's been a while anyway), and chose everyone's not-so-favorite (but my absolute favorite) goblin. Utunnels is bound to know who this is.

Did I mention I enjoy painting with Krita on Ubuntu? The past few paintings I've been doing it solely on that tool, especially the one in the post above.

But in all seriousness, congrats, bro. I know you have been working on this project for A FREAKING LONG time. I've wondered several times how it was going, so it's good to see the project completed! Congrats, Tush!!!

That, AND my pen name. But that's not fair; I don't know yours!

It's not actually complete. That's just the prologue. I'm just getting started.  8)

But in all honesty (the reason behind prologue's delay), until I become financially stable, I may not be able to focus properly on the rest of the episodes... unless I get a fair amount via Youtube revenues. That, and I also believe that over half of what I earn should go to those who helped me finish this (by voice acting, script writing, etc.) If nothing else, this should at least serve as a good demo-real to land me a proper break into media industry (getting into which is hell in itself in my locality).

On another note, would you believe that the person who did all that character art... is none other than our Licawolf (whose Heckran art you love quite much)?  :D

Are you still in contact with Licawolf?!?! I've wondered what's happened to her.

My real name isn't hard to find, with a little bit of research, hahaha... It's Michael.

Congrats again! Looking forward to seeing what else you whip up moving forward. :)

Nah. Well, I might have been the last one she contacted, but she told me that due to her busy life she almost just an echo on the internet (as in, barely "touches" the social networks, like forums and such). Kinda sad to hear. But in any case, I mailed her the episode the moment I uploaded it. No response yet, though.

Congrats again! Looking forward to seeing what else you whip up moving forward. :)
Thanks! You've no idea how much that motivated me today. xD

Tush,

You are a guy with vision and passion. Never let that go. Hold on to that and let that drive you. Never give up, never surrender. As I've known you over the years that's been one of your greatest strengths. Remember these things and let them guide you: compassion, empathy, drive, vision, passion.

I say those words for you much as I'm saying them to myself recently. :)

Onward and forward!

Hey, congratulations, Tush! Definitely made me smile at the end (that's my kind of humor). My only recommendation would be to either add subtitles or try to make Baron von Rednose speak a little more clearly: I had a hard time figuring out what was going on at the start. Don't trust youtube's auto subtitle abilities. They're a travesty.

It's up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSL-NdoOLQc

I can't really check myself (because of horrible connection) so you'll need to do that for me. XD In any case, Youtube seems to make subtitling a cinch! (I also removed the Automatic Captions so people aren't confused)

If anyone needs to translate the video, I'm all up for it! :)
