Just a little RD doubt

Hey guys, just a quick doubt I've got.

I was reading the Radical Dreamers script the other day and I noticed a piece of dialogue I haven't seen before. In the SuperXtreme Alphacosmos Police Case EX Ultra scenario. When you check the painting in the study, just after Serge jokes "If you're any kind of wife, you'll at least console him with one of your bittersweet smiles" there's these lines in the script:

"Magil's wife? What the...!?"
"It was only a joke, Kid! A joke..."
But it's too late... I cry out uncontrollably, glancing down where Kid's
knife had struck me with sublight speed.
The blade's redshifted afterimage brings forth high temperatures from the
nitrogen plasma shockwave, leaving me gasping, breath after breath...
Was I really joking? I can't even tell anymore...
Kid...
In my heart, I hold feelings of both love and malicious intent. Only because
of this am I able to rise to my feet, grasping my wound.

But everytime I play through this scene I always get these lines instead:

Whap!
"Hey, snap out of it, mate."
Kid had gone to the trouble of removing one of her high laced boots and
hitting me over the head with it. I awake from my daze, rubbing my head.
"Huh? What the heck... I was only joking around, Kid."
"Hrmf."

I was curious about how to get the first dialogue? I had been trying some things but to no use, I keep getting the second dialogue everytime.

Hmm, it depends on 'the points', you know what.
How strange, you need a high enough value to get the lines in your first quote.

I did try getting more love points before going to the study but ended up triggering a different scenario instead   I'll try again, or just use cheatcodes and see what happens, oh well

Hmm, just checked Demiforce's script dump.
You'll need 90 points. But too bad the value is not visible, so this information doesn't help a normal player.

wow, thank you so much, that's very useful actually, I was trying keeping record of the points based on the Love / Point System article .  I'm sure I got at least 74 points the last time, I'm gonna need to find more small gems, I guess. Apparently opening Riddle's dresser cancels the possiblity of getting this scenario out.

How funny a higher love value causes Kid to struck you with the knife, and a lower one just earns you a boot in the head   Love hurts.

Despite what the Compendium pages say, falling asleep is not a requirement for the alternate storylines; it's merely a shortcut. So, by opting not to fall asleep at the beginning, you can get the love points from before entering the manor.

• (Not listed on page yet) Choose the "April showers bring May flowers" option for Serge's thought - 18
• Attacking the Feral Cats immediately - 10
• Attacking the Feral Cats again - 8
• Answering "No way - let's go!" after Feral Cats battle - 18

Add up those points to the initial 38, and you get 92 love points.

Er...did you already know about not falling asleep? Minus the first love-point increase I mentioned, your minimum point total's what you can get before entering the manor.

I did know about not falling asleep, but I didn't know about the "April showers bring May flowers" option, indeed. That would help a lot, thanks
