The Golden era!
What games do you remember from the early 80s to the middle 90s before the 3D war and the meaning of hardcore gaming changed?
My favorites were from the top of my head and I'll start with the good ol Commodore 64:
Tink Tonk Series by Mercer Meyer and Sprout:
Tink Tonk and the land of buddy bot: *Adventure/Edudainment*
Tink Tonk Goes to Town: Adventure/Edutainment
Super PipeLine 2 C64 *shoot em up/Action*
Unspeakable Violence: *Blow em up/Action*
King Tut's Tomb:
A collection of mini-games where all I remember is one of the mini games there a haunted house/mansion you had to navigate thru and if you go/wind up at a dead-end you come up to a ghost which I think kills you but I was very young like 5 and didn't understand what to do so I dont' remember the rules of that game.

Another mini game you had to collection diamonds in this pyramid where you are running and there are bad guys after you or something:
I only understood simple games.
Another C64 game was a 3d pyramid maze which was MUCH more slower paced and you had to go/walk to the top of it and I can't remember why but I was fascinated with the graphics as it was above average and the mazes where long with alternate paths and traps.
Edit: If you went outside of the pyramid you could see an airplane and explore outside a little bit
I'll explain more later which may not be till after this weekend if we wind up with a major ice/freezing rain storm here in Oregon and have the electricity cut:

PS: Does anyone know anything about the King Tut's Tomb games that were in it?
