My username came as a the reuslt of a failed attempt at a short novel I was writing at some time in my life. It was when I was younger and stupider about creative writing than I am today.

The story was supposed to be about the first human being created from scratch, not from zygotes and test tubes.  During the creation process, he gained the ability to absorb energy by contacting the orifice of the energy's output source.  However, he managed to escape the facility he resided in and make his way into suburbian America where he befriends some high school loser and  engage in a couple of misadventures, including being hounded by government agents.  It all gets predictable from there.

The story may have died, but the title was able to find its way to this Compendium, and here I am today.

Aw, I'd have totally watched the afternoon live-action TV show that would have inevitably resulted from such a story.

We already have this thread. I would suggest V to close this thread and merge it with the last one. It is customary to research threads on a forum before making your own one, especially since this forum supports thread necromancy. Before I make a new thread, I always do a search to check as well as possible if the thread existed in the past.

Thought was nice enough to dig up the threads for you, so I hope that V can merge this one...

Way back when, at a time when Myspace was a fledgling site, Youtube hadn't been heard of yet, and Skype was still stuck in Sweden, I started wandering into the chatrooms of AOL. I was a huge wrestling buff back then, so I tried out an assortment of wrestler-themed nicknames(the weirdest one being Behigskyner, a combination of Benoit(murderer/wrestler), Highlander(movie) and Lynard Skynard(if you don't know who that is, just die)). At the same time, I was also a Yugioh buff, so I eventually settled on the name EnvoyoftheTruth(after the two Envoy monsters). Everyone referred to me as Truth for short.

There was a member of the wrestling community that was very charismatic named Deal. One night, for whatever reason, we decided to change mind screw everyone and changed our names to TruthorDeal?(me) and DealorTruth?(him) respectively.

Since then, I just kept it at Truthordeal, with variations of it on Youtube, since I keep getting suspended and need to change my username every now and then.

Yeah... Thats fair. Well, it was just curiosity, and at least newer members know of the existence of these threads. So, it wasn't all a total loss. But I learned my lesson: to research more thoroughly before starting a new thread.

^ Good : D. You're new and I'm not going to be bitchy about it to you at all. Sometimes members make the most idiotic threads and I complain about that. Like this one user, who is notorious for making really weird threads, made this thread something like "My youtube video is not loading. What happened." I don't know, I just can't tolerate threads like that. >_>;. Also, I think it was only me who had a problem with that thread! Everyone else didn't really seem to care : (.

This is actually a very nice thread, but the only problem is that it has already been done!

Yeah. Well, it was still interesting to read through those other threads. Some really good stories behind the names. Well, if this thread does get merged, I am really looking forward to hearing anyone elses stories.

I didn't know there were two others...Oddly enough I was forgetting thanatos' thread, which is the only one I ever posted in (probably because I subconsciously knew that Laith was posting a stupid topic that had already been posted! :O)...But idk which page "A rose by any other name" is on to merge with these ones...*sigh*

The... second or third nickname I got online was Pan, and that's because a friend of mine told me I actually had the personality of Pan from DBZ/DBGT. I was around 12 at that time (yes, Internet arrived preeeeeetty late on Central American countries), and I had to agree to that, plus I think she's cool, so I stuck to it. When I started joining other forums, most of the time the nick was taken, and I was playing Chrono Chross around that time and also met my actual boyfriend (radicalblues), and we had this sort of team that were cool around those times and he got me in, so I added the "Radical" because of Radical Dreamers in front of the Pan, and there you go.
I'm know online as either Pan or Radical Pan for almost 10 years now.

That isn't the point... The point is the idea of what a Knight does and what that means of Zeal. I will continue to fight for the Chrono Series.  I am eternally loyal to it and would die waiting for it's return. I most likely will.
