Come one, come all, to my artistic...

Well, maybe I shouldn't say masterpieces. I'm not as good as some other folks around here. For instance, the only position I can really do is standing. (Anything else, and it just looks odd.) I also can't draw hands worth a crap, although some look better than others. And I absolutely suck at backgrounds.

Mostly, I will be showcasing character artwork for my fic To the Sea of Dreams (working title). I will take major characters into priority, then the NPCs, and new characters will be added as they're introduced, so check back from time to time.

... his eyes are scary... and the feet look funny... but other than that, nice job! Maybe you should work on your eye styles...

I kinda ran out of room on the paper to finish drawing the feet. That happens a lot... :oops:

But I didn't think his eyes were scary when I drew them. :shock:

He's an older guy (23), he's not as wide-eyed as Serge or Chrono. That, and he's from Medina (read: Mystic/fiend/whatever), though that doesn't get revealed until around officially chapter 2.

Although that may also be due to the fact that I sort of take my art style after a variation of Toshiyuki Kubooka (Character designer of the Lunar series). I'll see what I can do in future pics. :)

Yeah, I'm definitely a fan of long coats.

I kinda wanted to do a rough-around-the-edges, but easily approachable type.

He'll definitely be your friend (if a woman, a friend with benefits), but not much more than that. There's a good reason for that, though.

Edit: Added 22-year-old Schala to the list. I kinda wanted to have a cross between Schala's modesty and Kid's sex appeal. I'm not quite sure I succeeded, but there she is.

The anatomy's cool, and the costume too! Just the face is a bit messed up. And the coloring. But I have no doubt with a little practice you'd be terrific! =D

Lark's good buddy Glenn has been added up top. I kinda need to update the first prologue for his appearance now, though. He didn't have the half-goat and scars originally.

Hmmm... looking through Schala's pic, I really can't see how the face is messed up. Maybe I'm not paying close attention. :?

Anyway... Maybe I can squeeze a couple more main characters in before they're supposed to appear. Give the readers something to look forward to. I'm really gonna have to start working on the fic now, though.

Ahhh!!! It's on page 3! Must... bump...!

Sorry for the lack of updates on this and on the fic. Just haven't found the time. (And I moved and no longer have access to a scanner.) And I have just about all the main party members and villains drawn, too. >_<

If by some chance my fic does end up in Mt. Woe, maybe I can use these designs in the doujinshi circle. :P

I had a lot of fun creating this guy. All I can say is that he has both an obvious, and not so obvious connection to Ophelia. Second, Lark will hate this guy's guts.

Well, all that's left is minor villains and NPCs, and that'll be all the characters. Finally feels good to find a scanner.

Hate to use the powers of thread necromancy, but I figured I'd get this on the front page. Just because the story's currently in parody format doesn't mean the character designs don't apply. :P
