VORPAL SLASH!!!

Oh, wait, wrong series...My bad...

Anyways, I've only played Tales of Phantasia some of the "Tales of..." series and though I haven't gotten too far into it, it's pretty damn hardcore...I think the GBA port dumbed down the encounter rate which was originally a sick & twisted feat of endurance...

Can't wait to play Tales of Hearts though.

Acacia Sgt: Yeah, I remember the first trailer for this game had Battle of the Spirit playing in the background. Funny how that's one of the only songs that didn't make it into the sequel.

V_Translanka: Hahaha, I forgot about Golden Sun. Didn't the same composer from Symphonia do the soundtrack for that too? They should really make another sequel.

Anyone know if Tales of the Abyss is any good? I've had it for over a year but didn't even open it up yet. I guess I kind of forgot about it.

Can't tell. The only 'Tales of' games that I have played are nearly all the ones happening in Aselia. (Phantasia, Symphonia, Narikiri Dungeon, Summoner's Lineage, etc.)

I hear Abyss is excellent and improves on Symphonia's formula in many ways. Never released in Europe though, so I haven't gotten to try it myself...

Vesperia gets released here next year (you lucky gits have had it for a few months!), so I'll probably get that when I have my 360.

I started playing Abyss yesterday. I've had it for well over a year, just never got around to playing it for some reason. It's pretty good so far, and even improved on Symphonia's battle system. Symphonia still had the best story so far, though.

Both versions (anime & CG) of Tales of Hearts are out...in Japan...I haven't tried them though as I...don't know Japanese and am not so interested that I'm willing to d/l the Japanese version just to see what they look like (since I've already seen screenshots, I figure I know enough of what it looks like)...

Tales of Hearts is pretty cool.  The hi-ougis, sadly, are more original then Tales of Vesperia's.  Minus Crazy Comet etc etc...I can't seem to get myself to play TOH much though...I'm getting kind of bored of the tales series.

I would like to play ToH, or any other. The only Tales games that I have played all take place in Aselia, all of them, except Narikiri Dungeon 3. I like to play them, but I want to try something else.

But returning to DotNW, I must admit, it has it's funny situations, like the Hot Spring. I can't believe Lloyd was caught, again!

Doesn't a Frog or something wield a legendary Sword or something? And isn't there like a Giant Goomba or something, and some guy with Red Spikey hair and his Princess Girlfriend going to kill said Goomba? And isn't there some Nerd lady? And some Angsty Guy? And Some Cavewoman??
Hmmm... Maybe I'm thinking of the Wrong game...

Anyhow, I recently watched the alternate scene with Yuan and Kratos. How dissapointing that he didn't return as playable.

Actually, it's for the Wii.

But, after playing through the game, I'm starting to wonder why they are doing it, and yet they never bothered to also add in Phantasia. Even after the PSP port, they didn't add even the slightest mention to Yuan and/or Kratos.
