Actually, it HAS the 14th ending.
Remeber those who played the leaked rom and got frozen in time gate?

Well, even modern technogy can't make sure time travel has 100% success rate, so that's just an accident...

Actually, if we're using that logic, there are 15 endings, including the "bad ending" where you lose to the DD/Lavos.

They don't show up in the ending log though, so I'm not sure if you can really count them...

However, if you get the 14th REAL ending, a new row will appear on the Ending Log to show it, which breaks the ending log. You will also get Dream weapons for everyone, not just Crono and Janus, which will consequentially break the Item Encyclopedia, which will then break your DS. I won't spoil it for you, go try and get it. :p

I thought the Spellslinger, Venus Bow, and Apocalypse Arm were Dream weapons, as well. I know they don't have the word "Dream" in them, but they're acquired the same way the Dreamreaper is. If the Dreamreaper is a Dream weapon I'd think those others are, too.

Hm, maybe... I'm not entirely sure why it's called "Dreamreaper", anyway. I guess because souls somehow connect with dreams or something...? I'd imagine it's connected to Dreamseeker then... Bah, we're probably just overthinking this and they have no plot bearing whatsoever. :/

Apocalypse, Spellslinger, and Venus have little to nothing to do with dreams, though, I think... o.O I was picturing them more like Dreamseeker/reaper, with "Dream" and then a verb attached...

Blargh, this is getting confusing. >.<

The Japanese name for Chrono's new weapon you get after defeating the DD is 夢幻 (むげん, "mugen").

Literally is just "dream" + "phantasm/fantasy". But 夢幻 itself in Japanese usually just means dreams/fantasy.
