Yeah on the item page for Race Log it says it's automatically obtained. But actually to get it you need to walk through Lab 32 without using the Jet Bike and get it from a chest.

Just thought I'd mention it

Edit: Also, on the Blackbird page, the image "Blackbird Wing & Ports.png" is broken...
