I've always wondered this. Are there two endings for CC's NewGame+ chapters, based on if you killed the Time Devourer or if you used the Chrono Cross?

No, during New Game+, no matter where you are in the game, if you defeat the TD with the Chrono Cross, you'll get the ending where Schala's freed blablabla.

But, considering you get the Chrono Cross very late in the game, even in New Game+, there's not much point

What kind of machine are you on? Home, school, other? Have you considered booting from a LiveCD/DVD/USB? It'd allow you to get past all of the 'nanny' software on your machine(provided the web filter is local, and not external).

Edit: Ah, yes; be sure to use discretion as well. If you're not supposed to be able to access something, don't advertise that you can.

School-issued laptop. I'm at home right now, so it's no biggie. The only problem is the damn filters. A classmate of mine once suggested in a School Issues Speech (one of my classes is Public Speaking) that the filters be taken down when school ends. IMO, there should be a proximity sensor around the exact perimeter of the campus that enables the filters when we come onto the campus during school hours and turn the filters off when school ends..

Slightly back at the whole not-having-a-battle-theme-for-the-Time-Devourer thing, back when the game came out I'm sure people had a hard time figuring out how to get the good ending in CC, all people knew is that a "healing melody" was needed and that the Chrono Cross made the elements produce sounds so they had to figure out the melody, and that melody was heard at Terra Tower, so I'm guessing that the lack of music is there to empathize the sound of the elements and so people could properly reproduce the melody, the DBT being a cold and lonely place and Shala's sorrow also were a pretty good reason for the place not having any music, I guess that not having music in that battle was a good idea.

  I never reached the last boss, because I had a bad Disc II. :(

 All this time I thought the Time Devourer fight used the song "people imprisoned by destiny" or something. It's that really sad fight music that only seems to play for the hardass bosses, like Miguel.

Then your machine's web filter is local(i.e. on your computer) and a LiveCD/DVD/USB will help. I don't really want to go through the whole explanation and tutorial process, but there are guides on the internet for that. I'd keep it simple for now and boot off an Ubuntu LiveCD: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCD

Get a PSX emulator and the iso's and go play it now....
