Yeah we play the cheaters next. I don't know if this makes me evil but I am happy Brady's gone. Maybe we can finally beat the pats.

Yeah, I don't like injuries, but if any team has had some kind of setback coming...

Bill Belicheat is an evil man.

That is true. Patriots deserve what they get.

Ah, regional pride...if only I could share such. But alas, I live in Washington state & remember a past of lame ass Seachickens throughout my childhood. I wasn't very good at football games and they were always the go-to team that any n00b could have beaten...It's hard to get over that even with a trip to the Super Bowl a couple years ago & subsequent years of ruling their division...Seattle...V_V

I feel your pain, I was a Seahawks fan until Indianapolis got Peyton Manning.

I wanted the Seahawks to win in the recent Super Bowl. I thought the officiating in that game was terrible, just like the media's presentation of it. We saw like 10 vignettes on Steelers players before we even got 1 during the commercial breaks for the Seahawks.

I think that's when I became a Ben Roethlisberger-hater.

Just wanted to pop in and say GO BEARS.  I'm even impressed with our performance......minus a ridiculous move by Devin Hester which thankfully didn't get shown on ESPN  cause our defense kicked so much ass.  What a crazy first week i can't believe tom is gone.....i hated him as well......i think i even may have said i hope he gets injured......no i feel bad for saying that :(

I think the world hasn't caught on to the NFL mostly to spite Americans because we aren't into soccer (& because we call it soccer maybe).

American Football is just not that exciting or interesting.  I don't like any sport but between the two mentioned, football is by far more entertaining and fun.

I was mostly kidding with that comment, but all the excitement of soccer happens the few times someone tries to score (and rarely actually does) the rest of it's just running back & forth and passing to one another (lol, I guess you could say that for NFL sorta?)...like a giant game of Basketball where people use their feet instead of their hands...and the goal is larger & on the ground...wow, soccer is lame basketball? It seems mostly based on national pride (along with national rivalries) as well. I like football americano partly because there's several ways to score...I think, like most sports, you need to learn the rules & basics to know why what happens is exciting. I mean, big passes, big runs, big hits...the only thing it's missing is flamethrowers.

Sorry to thread necro, but the Jets are crushing the Patriots... and it feels great.

And yet it came down to OT...but still cool...Jets go from, like, the worst record in the NFL (or was that Miami?) to leaders of their division in one year...I can't wait to see how far Favre'll be able to take 'em.

And I didn't think I had wanted to see a team's unbeaten record fail as much as last year with the Patriots, but now...When will those Titans fall already?

The Jets play Titans Sunday. Also that game never should have went to OT :( Cotchery needs to hold on to the ball. I was also very surprised Brett didn't throw a pick since ya know he always did that.

New York Giants; Great Team or Greatest Team?
