This will not compare to TDK.

Hell, nothin to lose, right?  :D
I've got a good 1 hour-3 hours depending on how long it is to lose. I've also got around $15 to lose. Oh, yes! And if bad enough my pleasant memories(of course rarely have I encountered movies that are THAT bad and this doesn't look THAT bad).

$15? Wow that is an expensive theater. I more then happy to churn out a couple bucks at the chance of enjoying myself. As for time, well I would be playing games instead so no loss there.

Oh please, you all know that all of you who have posted on this thread, you will watch it in theatres, buy it on DVD, watch on Pay-per-view, download the movie before it is released in theatres, or watch it on your local movie channels 3-5 months after DVD release. Regardless of how/when/where you'll watch it, I guarrantee all of you will watch it, I know I will.

I will by having retarded friends who don't have solid intelligence, especially my soccer team they are so excited for this. They made me see Taken, don't watch it. Lame action movie, if you cut pieces of every other action movie you get the same thing.

I didn't even see TDK in theaters (only saw it a few weeks ago in fact). I like Dragonball, but this movie, from as far as I can tell (and it IS a bit of an early estimation) doesn't really seem to inspire the same enthusiasm as the anime, much less the manga.

I can't afford to watch it in the theatre. I wouldn't pay for that. I'd pay for the popcorn maybe. But the only way I'd watch it would be if I was forced to.

And like being forced to watch Twilight, I would kick and scream all the way.

I'm not going to watch it. But if for some reason they made a decent live action version of the Utena movie (with less lesbians and less Akio being sketchy) I'd watch that.

When I first heard about this I thought three words 'Worst idea ever' (in a French accent for some deranged reason)

You know, I love intelligent films like Requim for a Dream, Squid and the Whale, Pi, etc.; I love cutsie wutsie films like Amelie, etc.; I also enjoy pointless action flicks.  Taken was just like every other action flick, but it was enjoyable.  Was it great? No. Was it above average? No. But was it entertaining and worth watching? Yes.

We all know we're going to end up seeing Dragonball, let's be honest here.

Too true, that's what I'm inferring really, I mean if it had a good script it wouldn't be so bad I guess

Speaking of Dragon Ball, I'm rereading it, and I really have no idea HOW they're going to make it into a movie. Turning Goku into a teenager is a bad move...

Child actors is a worse move.  Remember the Phantom Menace?
