Still here.
« on: February 04, 2008, 12:27:36 pm »
In case anyone's thought that this project is dead, this is a notice saying that it is most certainly not.

I just haven't been posting anything about the project lately. The project is still progressing. Once Sealed gets back to me, we can show off some of the screenshots.

As it is, I only have one little shot to show right now.

Yeah, this shot isn't much. I'll have pics of the opening scenes and such as soon as possible.

I gotta agree it's a pretty interesting idea for a project. Don't get discouraged and keep at it. ^^

Question for ya:
How did you change the default name (or did you)? I am working on a project as well and I have been stumped on that. I heard someone say they did it "via hex editing", but I am a total 100% NooB at that. Is that how you did it as well? If so, what tool did you use?

Load up the rom in Temporal Flux.  Click Windows, Locations.  Go to Loading Screen, click Events.  You'll see this: http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x220/Xxjustin3009xX/TF.png

And ya...

Alright, I found that, and forgive me if this is a stupid question but:

What do I DO with that? I don't understand how that's the names.

It's got this as the "Data" on that:

A2CBC8C7C800ACBACBC5BE00ABCEBCBCBA00B1C8BBC80000A5CBC8C00000A0D2C5BA0000ACBAC0CECC00A4C9C8BCC100

Not sure what those numbers mean at all.
Do I change the names from right here? Or what?
Sorry if this is a stupid question or if I'm misunderstanding something. =\

Eh, it was kinda obvious.  if A2 = C, then A1 = B, A0 = A.  then just keep counting down till you finish lowercase and actually test the values.

Well, unfortunately Sealed has been completely out of contact. If sealed is gone, then tis project's fate is also "sealed" seeing how the copy of the project I had had was lost due to computer problems some time ago.

All I can do at the moment is hope for the best...

You lost your copy? Man, that hurts.

Well, I hope things look up. =\
