If it wasn't for Abrams and Burk being on the project, I would have thought it a third rate Godzilla rip-off (which is how it originally struck me, given that there is a Godzilla-like noise-thingy in the preview). Given that no one really knows anything else about the film, I won't be seeing it unless I hear really wonderful things about it. So if you like it, please do share.

Which form of Lavos? I hope you don't mean the duck-legged version. That would be horrific, but not in the way the movie is aimed for (or so I think).

As for the shell, I always thought those "little" spikes on the bottom the shell were supposed to be its "legs," in an odd centipede sort of way...

Damn it, that ruins the whole suspense thing of what is was going to be a few months back. But now seeing the damn TV trailer I can see a tall monster, who looks scaly, uhhggggg, now I don't think I even want to watch it.

It's made of slushies. And you'll never get a full look at the monster, wait for the second movie for that.

Speaking of the second movie, they'll be in the sewers drinking Slusho every 108 minutes or something.

I think I'll go see it.

Why not?

I love Lost, so it has to be OK, right?

Same here, and I hope it's good. It looks intense, I don't think I'll be to bothered anymore if it's a Godzilla movie, or something around there.

Awesome gimmick movie! Hooray for (new?) ideas! Who says you need to stand on just being a good all-around movie when you can leave it all up to a vague sense of suspense!

Currently, it has become so symbolic of irrefutable logic that "Q.E.D." is occasionally used in non-mathematical contexts as well to intensify assertions; in this context it has little connection with rigorous deduction, however, and is more tongue-in-cheek.
