Chrono Trigger brought us time-travelling.

Chrono Cross brought us shifting between parallel worlds.

Radical Dreamers brought us... well, new gameplay and a new feel.

What new 'theme' would you like to see in the next Chrono game?

Space Travel. Magus' son-clone, Mick van Jovi, traveling through the cosmos in the Super Legendary Space Ship XR-RX with his alien buddy Starky to defeat Lavoids with the power of Rock.

Floating islands, machines that negate the necessity of eating, and prehistoric rituals involving dancing and the consumption of edible mass.

Waaaaaait a minute...

cross out time, parallel worlds, and new gameplay.... That only leaves the modification of ones own dimension.

If we, could, lets say, go anywhere, see anything, and talk to anyone, it would leave a game with almost no linearity. I wonder how that could be done... Like having the character only develop the more powerful modification techniques near the end of the game, after all the quests and stuff are done.

There's still plenty of room for expansion of the crossing time / crossing dimensions ideas.

For example, the two have not been combined yet (at least not throughout the game).
I also would be interested in a game that was more flexible that CT or CC.  For example, imagine a game like CT where you could visit at literally any time, instead of having 6 or 8 set points in time...it may not be feasible, but imagine the possibilities if it were.  If a game like Spore is possible, surely this is too...

That just puts the idea for Chrono EVO in my head.  Don't like your genetic draw?  Use the POWER OF LAVOS to go back and change it!

I'd like to see a split between reality and fantasy, like going from a videogame/computer program into the real world.

I'd trust the Dream Team to make it work.

I want a game to focus on the creation of magic and Zeal. It can have a cool tech creation system that allows you to essentially make unique techs from training and learning from NPCs. Item modifiers can be used for magic combos, and certain weapons will allow certain physical combos. The only problem is that this system will be blindingly hard to code into a 2D interface. :?

Haha!
I want what Nightmare wants, except not video game/reality, but rather dream/reality.
