Exactly. I think the graphics in chrono trigger are almost excatly the same as DBZ. they also were played around the same time era. musta been a popular thing back then.
having the same guy behind the art for both kinda does that...

The Toriyama art helped me get into it back then, cuz I could imagine Crono doing crazy DBZ type shit during fights.

I like chrono better. Honestly I like his charecter more.

And that theory doesnt work out because cronos mum doesnt look anything like schala in CC or CT
PLUS Chrono looks nothing like the two.

(oh and anybody who doesnt like CT, Dragon Quest, Etc. because it has DBZ animation, You suck. I mean you REALLY suck.
The animation in DBZ is cool. yes crono and lucca look like goku and bulma a lot but seriously you may not like the anime. but the type of animatioon is pretty good!)

I like serge more because...uuh...because His hair isn't as flamboyant. Also DBZ was okay but gets REALLY repetitive.

They are the same in so many ways so it's just a matter of their parties. who would win in a fight though? I would have to say Serge. His Strongest Tech is stronger than Crono's, because Serge has both you can say that. At least thats why for me, as for element everyone can use them including Crono but they didn't have them at the time, I think.

Honestly, I like Crono a lot better. Serge looks almost like he's wearing a bonnet half the time, and the twin-blade weapon is kind of stupid. Mostly though, I just don't like his name. Besides, what's with the outfit?

So what if Crono's concept art looks like something out of DBZ? There's barely any concept art to begin with, and the sprites in the game are very well done. Because of that, Crono's character comes across as a lot more animated and lively than Serge's.

Really though, I always felt the Chrono games were slightly lacking when it came to character design. If there were ever another game, I'd really like to see someone like Hyung-tae Kim, Tite Kubo, or even just Tetsuya Nomura do the concept art.

Its already been said, they're pretty much the same (since they never really talk, you can't really "relate" to the character).

I prefer Serge, pretty much for a better fashion sense. =P
