I love the FF13-2 demo. Does that make me a bad person?

If the game is anything like the demo, get this on a PS3 and/or get Xenoblade on Wii and play them at the same time(bonus points), and you effectively have "as close to Chrono Break as we're gonna get". That's a quote I expect we'll be hearing a lot about XIII2 in the next few years.

Of course, since it's NOT Chrono Break, buy used ;)

That can easily be our new meme.

I love the fact that I have a Sherlock Holmes of a boss and friend. And a Christian one too, making him twice as awesome.

Although, while his personality his quite the opposite of the original Sherlock (boss ain't afraid to warmly socialize), the very same analytic genius and intelligence is still there.

All in all, I'm glad I can benefit from it all. In his words, when you have to do something, "do it with style!"

I don't care who among you believe or who don't or what you have against it or not (wait, actually I do), but as an artist I feel inspired by her devotion.

The Dutch on Drugs and Teen Sex

At least someone is doing it right! C:

Though to be honest, my own sex education was kind of a non-issue. There was a mandatory girls' health class which was basically "THIS IS SEX AND THESE ARE ALL THE DISEASES YOU CAN GET FROM IT," and then stuff I looked up online. I don't mean porn--I actually looked up what sex was supposed to be and how it worked. (not that I hadn't read about it or seen it incidentally in books or movies) My dad, who is an idiot, tried to give me "the talk" when I was 15 or so, I think. Seriously? SERIOUSLY?
On the other hand, my mom never even brought it up, I think. Not because I wasn't allowed to hear about it, but because she assumed I'd find out on my own eventually. And last year, when I told her I was going out with Red she asked "Oh, so do you want to get on birth control?" Completely chill. My mom is awesome.

While pretty busy in real life, I began to learn some lua and got a bit lost. So I made a pause and read some more Cthulhu Mythos to relax.
During the time searching the internet I found some old Manga called Jashin Densetsu series, which was inspired by H.P.L's work. At first I thought, hmm, another Japanese Manga which plays with porn and gore. But soon I found it did a quite decent job in the story part.

:? Reading all of the 5 books spent only several hours, but I recall I spent a whole week on H.P.L's Yig. So that is how our eyes become lazy towards literal works.

utunnels, have you ever done much in the way of speedreading? I find that it's the only way I have time to read a novel here and there anymore, and surprisingly my comprehension and recall of the story (even details) doesn't seem to be all that affected. I heard about a person who's eidetic memory lasted into adulthood, they could read 2 pages at a time, flipping pages every few seconds. there was another person who could read diagonally across paragraphs and the info would sort of process in real time while they read at quadruple speed, so a second break or so between paragraphs and voila, 10 seconds per page and you can finish a whole book in less than 4 hours, just like radical dreamers.
