Emulators aren't illegal; only ROMs are. Try ePSXe.com.

It's also illegal to copy the original Playstation BIOS software without an appropriate software license. A few emulators try to reimplement the functionality of the BIOS -- such as PCSX -- but most don't.

The PSX emulators I recommend are PSXeven and ePSXe. I also recommend dropping by Pete Bernert's homepage and using his GPU plugins.

Peops Soft GPU (which you can find on Pete Bernert's page) includes a video file recording option, and I believe his SPU plugin has an audio recording option as well (or maybe that was the Eternal SPU plugin).

While we're talking about PSX emulators, (as I don't wanna make a whole new topic on it),

How do you switch discs on ePSXe? I need to change to Disc 2 on CC.... >_<

File -> Change disk -> CDRom/Iso and then just select it(if it's an ISO)

I've tried that, but while playing the ISO, it opens it as a separate window from the ISO, so I can't select anything. I'll try again though.

What ind of seperate window? I always do it like that:
"Enter Disk 2"
Is choose "File", then "Change Disk" and "Iso". Another window opens where I can select an ISO, I do so and select disk Nr.2, and after a few seconds, it load and the game goes on.
