I just finished a huge entry. While I am quite admittedly proud of myself for doing it in a matter of a few minutes, there's always the chance I missed something or placed down some false information. If you want to read it:

Nice Work, I liked it.

By the way, I kind of had a thought that the time egg allowed Marle,Lucca etc to actually go into the Ocean Palace that was already in the DBT. That may explain why everything there was frozen. I don't know why it'd be discarded, but it's unsure why it would be frozen if the Time Egg can only take you back to a certain place in time.

By the way, RD to me kind of implied that the Time Egg itself can't just lead you back to any era. That was why Lynx wanted it with the Frozen Flame, and as he had said, when combined, one has power over all of time and space since they can go anywhere anytime pretty much.

DBT stands for the Darkness beyond Time, the place where all lost timelines go to. And the home of the TD (see next).
TD Simply stands for the Time Devourer

I know there are lots more but i cant remember half of them.

That's because "darkness beyond time" is an expression used only once in the game. The characters more often use the simplier expression "darkness of time".

Very nice write-up.  There is one thing that I would like to bring up that Zaperking has mentioned already but I would like to further explore.  In Chrono Trigger, when the Time Egg was used, it opened a gate to a time freeze of the Ocean Palace in 12,000 B.C.  When the Time Egg was used in Chrono Cross, no such time freeze occurred.  Why?

Possible explanations for this:

1) The Time Egg may be able to be used in more than one way according to the will of the user.
2) There could be different Time Eggs made for different purposes.  As the Time Egg the Guru of Time designed may have been significantly different from the one the Guru of Reason designed (assuming the Guru of Reason actually did design the one used in Chrono Cross).

I'm not sure if either explanation is correct, but this should make for some good discussion.

Yeah, it looks great. However, once I think about that, the CC Time Egg seems to be built of Dreamstone, no?

If Belthasar did make the CC Time Egg then where would he have got the Dreamstone from?

Neo-Epoch for Belthasar.

Lucca...um...Epoch, possibly?

This proves that Time Eggs aren't made of Dreamstone to begin with.

I don't see why she would. No point in destroying one of her most priceless mementos/powerful inventions.
