No.  The best game I ever played  would be Chrono Trigger, of course.  And I base that on the simple fact that I had more fun playing CT than any other game to this day.  I'm not trying to say its the best game ever coded, just that I had more fun, was more interested in the plot, and cared about the characters more in CT than any other game.  FF VI and Xenosaga Episode One were they only other games that even come close to challenging CT in that regard.

Well, I completed Xenogears.

That was the GREATEST game I've ever played!!!!!!!!

The story was one of the best I've seen in a novel/film/video game. It absolutely crushed the Final Fantasy and Chrono series.

What did you think of Disc 2?

By the time I got to disc 2, I could have cared less about the gameplay. I was just concerned with the story. I enjoyed disc 2 more than disc 1.

Man, I'm loving this game. Although I haven't gotten all that far into the game, I'm still loving it. And I don't think I'll be bothered too much with the whole sitting around in chairs thing. Is it that bad? I don't mind watching/reading video games all that much... But do they sit and talk throughout the entire disc?

No. They don't sit in chairs for the entire disc, but most of the exposition comes from those "scenes".
