It's an online flash rpg...thing...It's pretty fun...I've been kinda hooked...I guess it's kind of old. I saw the link in a link from an 8BT episode's news update of about a hundred issues ago...Well, it's pretty fun and it's free, but of course there's an upgrade if you're willing to pay (but i'm a cheap bastard). Check it out of you wanna waste some time.

edit: lol! guess I should include a link, huh?

HERE IT IS

edit2: holy crap! I didn't notice it, and wouldn't have if I hadn't forgotten to put in the link, but...

I played it and saw the link like you did and got hooked up for aproximatly 4 hours then it got very boring and I stop + you always get things like

"OMG THE HOLY SWORD!! but unfortunaly you're cheap and didn't pay and the sword disapeared... too bad"

and I fell lame for even clicking an ads so I will not post this

Try Kingdom of Loathing. It's good stuff. I started out as a Sauceror, and have since Ascended to a Pastamancer. Yum! The other classes are Disco Bandit, Accordian Theif, Turtle Tamer, and Seal Clubber.

I played it for a while, at first I though it was an online mmorpg but it's not :( . I stopped playing when I discovered that to have different colored/shapes of armour you needed to pay, and also the battle system kinda sucks

Yeah, it's just something to do inbetween bouts of doing nothing...And really...I'm really in dire need of a real RPG, and this just lets me remember that RPGs do, in fact, exist, and that I don't just sit online all day talking about them...

I agree.  Much better online RPG's exist.. Goonzu Online, RuneScape, and some others.

Ragnarok Online is also good, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, the list goes on.

Indeed.. I used to play Ragnarok Online (private servers).  Fun but very repetitive and boring since there were no quests..

WoW and GW I have not yet played because my video card can't handle very modern games.  Once I get a job, then a car, maybe I'll get a new PC.

Yeah, but are any of those examples free...much less done in flash format? I think it was pretty impressive for being flash...Which, I know isn't saying much...But I've also come to realize that it was stupid of me to advertise since if you play the free version, then you're limiting your play time...Since only so many free people can play at one time...

The ones I listed are free.  Ragnarok Online isn't exactly free but it's not too hard to find a private server to play on.

Flash, to me and to many others I'm sure, is a major downside for an online RPG.  The feel of Flash games is usually pretty bad, and sometimes you'll get pukey-looking frameskips and unnecessary special" effects.

I'm not flaming you though man, just the game.

In my opinion, even the horrible Runescape, is better that Adventure Quest.

All MMORPGs are terrible and deserve to die.
