How about a non-portable PSP?

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm glad you all like it.

I agree that there's nothing like using the old school system. The emulation on the PSP is definately far from perfect. Out of curiosity, how much did that cost to make and how much would it cost to make the PS1 portable?

I can actually do a Playstation1 Portable for $125, or $150 if you want a way better battery. Just in case you were wondering, here's my prices on this stuff:

PS1: $125-$150
SNES: $150-$175
Genesis: TBA, Never really thought about it
NES: $90-$110

I'm working on other consoles as we speak. However, if any of you daring folks wanna try this yourself, (provided you have decent soldering skills) I could walk you throug the process.

A+ for effort at least...Though that thing must be horribly unwieldy like something I could only imagine would come out of a Microsoft think tank for their portable system...>_>

I'll stick to my emulation, thank you...My SNES is my baby!

I've had a second-hand SNES since I was a kid, and I shall never dispose of it. :D

N64 control sticks tend to do that. Annoying, isn't it?

And Mario Party bores the hell out of me. It's fun, but really repetitive. It's getting ridiculous - there are 7 mario party games now, with a possible 8th on the Wii.

I've had that problem, too. Plus, the N64 joystick is just so damned uncomfortable! If you want, I can post a mod I know that will replace your crappy N64 joystick with a GCN one.

All of my SNES controllers (I think just two?) are Turbos...Although I've rarely had a need for it...Except the "slow motion" (Turbo Start button) which makes Crono's Luminaire into the most awesome strobe light ever!

I play them on the GC now(or PC, aynways), so my n64 just bites dust now. There will be a time when someone will come and play Mystical Ninja Starring Geoman on it...again. But it's cool to play the Old Zeldas on GC. I even got a GC usb PC adapter stuff to use my GC controller on PC.
