TF thread
« on: April 21, 2006, 05:08:33 pm »
I have alot of questions about the TF, so i was wondering instead of having all of these posts in the Kajar Lab forum why not make a whole new thread or what not. I was also wondering what is the comand for adding someone to your party?

It's just easier to address each person's questions in their own thread, they get more direct attention to their problems that way (instead of many people, and many questions, and everyone waiting in the same thread). :)

Events:
Category: Party Management
     Command: Party Manipulation
Variant: Any (not sure about the differences, just use the default, D0)
Character: Choose a character to add to/take from the party
Operation: What to do with the chosen party member, take away, put in, move to reserve party, etc...

Fire away any more questions you have in this thread, and someone will get to it eventually, and if not, don't let the thread die, just bump it occasionally (not like 3 times daily or anything, maybe once every 2 days or something, depending on the day of the week, or board activity, everyone might just be busy).

It's good to also post your experiences and what you've learned, so you can look back and see your own progress, and to remind yourself what you did, or how you learned it, others browsing may have the same mind-set as you, and catch on as you do.

Small note to add to CL's comment there

If you are removing characters do NOT remove directly from Active party (it causes bugs) First move them to reserve party and then remove them completely.  Also I had a topic called "how to" that you might be interested in (not to toot my own horn or anything)

Sorry I'm unclear on exactly what you're talking about.

I think he wants to have a playable character hanging from the Leene's Bell structure, instead of the bell (*shudder*). Yes, it's possible, just replace the bell sprite with a playable character sprite, though I don't think they have a 'hanging' animation frame... (depending on what you mean by 'hanging').

This is all done in the Events section.

ohh.    Yea you can just look up the animation they use in bekklers for the hanging animation and replace the sprite.  I can't remember if they have a rope in there to but if they do you can use that.
