The kid (who I'm guessing was around 13 years old at the most) probably realized that he would never accomplish such a massive task.  He honestly thought he was going to individually hand draw every frame for the movie.  Poor kid.

Hey, it was a kid with a dream. What suprises me is the fact that it took him this long to figure out he could never pull it off. Even if he had five more people working with him, it would still be near impossible.

I think he could do it, it depends how. I have a friend from Newgrounds, who is putting a flash series of Ocarina of Time together, a parody on how it really happened. He's doing the whole game, not into great detail, and scenes arent 30 minutes long, but its all hand drawn frames etc.

Take a looksy

I watched thos3e things, they're hilarious. Anyways, who's to say that he couldn't do it? I think he could. As long as Square-Enix gets that stick outta their ass he could.

We're not saying he couldn't because of legal restrictions.  We're saying he couldn't do it because he was over ambitious, overstaffed, and had way too much envisioned for the thing.  We're talking physically doing it.
