Whoops, yeah, forgot to answer your question. Yeah, Horii has wacky ideas about time travel, while Kato seems to love using it in his creations.

With the New turn based games I know what you're talking about they're too easy to utilize, and make less stragity and more of a style tat revolves around no special techs. With being able to move around like in FFXII you can avoid being hit and go back in and attack. Chrono Cross became less entertaining after I figured out hot to take advantage of that system. The old games had more of a lock tight system not alloeing you to avoid attacks or have you react to what the enemy's doing, also you had to THINK more than you have to now. Peoplenow have memorized the elemental weaknesess of game series to a point of knowing what to do in a cirtain situation. This makes things boring, guessing is half the fun in games. So I'm saying that games have become less stradagity and more bash your enemy with mindless monkey violence.

Really? I thought you couldn't avoid attack by moving away? I've never played FFXII though.

Was it FF12 or FF13 where you run around like kingdom hearts but the battle kinda pauses when your selecting items and magic?  meh.

Wow, sounds like Seiken Densetsu! ^_^ lol

SRPG=Strategy RPG (I'll assume you know the RPG part) ala FFTactics, Ogre Tactics, Fire Emblem, & Shining Force.

Well, obviously, since you didn't even know that it stood for STRATEGY. Try harder next time. ^_^
