General Discussion / Re: A little surprise that's a WIP...

I once created my role-play character Chris on SC4 on my friends PS3. I have to say, they did an excellent job making use of that system, and should incorporate it in the future of the Soul Caliber series.

That actually breaks my heart, because we all know the things you've been through, plus some things that you probably keep deep down inside you. I have to say, it hurts to know that the world might end up losing someone like you, Saj. But, I bet...I bet you'll pull through. Like stated earlier, people surpass things. I bet you are one of them, because so far, you've surpassed everything. Burn on, Sajainta. We're rooting for you.

Yes, it is. I dunno what is wrong with it, because it's a brand new camera.

EDIT: I actually posted the image again in my Springtime of Youth topic, describing the meaning behind each of the symbols.

I LOVE my new tattoo. I finally got a day to go get it. It took one hour and thirty minutes to complete it, not counting the thirty minute prep time for them to get a stencil and stuff.

Yep! Today was the first day of my graduate status. Honestly, I've been having some rough times since I left, but it still feels oh so good.

It's nice to be back, friends!

Well, guess what? Now that I've finalized everything and it's almost the end of school, and the beginning of graduation for me, I'm going to reintegrate myself back into the compendium! It's been a very long time since I last laid eyes on this wonderful community, and I can't wait to see and hear what I missed. How has everyone been? What's been going on lately? What epicness have I missed since I left for life purposes? Curiousity fills me!

Anywho, it'll be nice to be back! I've missed all of the wonderful faces and random moments we have here on the compendium. It's a pleasure to reaquaint myself.

This store down the road from my house that sells old video games and retro consoles for AMAZING deals. Like the Sega Genisis with two free games I got there for only $20.00. But this time around, I bought a movie, because they sell movies, too.

A complete set, two disk edition of Samurai X, the "prequel" to Rurouni Kenshin. Hard to find in it's condition (almost new).

General Discussion / Re: Crazy theory? (/theories)

I had to post this, but somewhere there is a site that has the most stupid ideas ever. I know this because I have a friend that prints them off and reads them to me every once-in-a-while. Many of them are so stupid, it's funny.

Such as a theory.

What if lightbulbs didn't really heat up and glow to produce the light in a dark room? What if they really just sucked the dark out of the room and left the light behind?

...

Really?

General Discussion / Re: Does anyone else think OCRemix sucks?

I never really had a problem with OCRemix, as long as the song was well composed. Like Zephira said above, you have to find the good ones.

I do wish they did more symphonic remixes, though.

You have my deepest sympathies, Saj...such a terrible thing to go through, that is. I hope she rests peacefully, and I am sure that where-ever she may be now, that she knows her mother loves her very much, still, to this very day. I couldn't imagine losing a child...that must be a madness all in it's own.

I wish you the best of life, Saj. You need a good one, that you do. *gives you a hug, milady*

(It's very late, but I hope my empathy is still good.)

Major virus killed my computer a few days ago. It really sucks. I had to restore the whole thing to factory settings, and therefore lost everything I had on it. All of my music, the images and art I made, and every program that didn't come with the computer.

And now the disk drive won't work to get the programs I need disks to get.

*Sighs from frustration* It'll be a long restarting process.

But I guess I gotta do it.  :kamina

Thanks. I actually thought the same thing at first.

Thanks for the well wishes. I think once life lets up a bit, I can become more active again. For now, I'll only be on once-in-a-blue-moon.

I'll see you all around, though, my friends!

I've been working on this for a while. Sort of a photomanip. I took many various images, worked them into the shapes I wanted, and added effects to make it artsy. Still working on it, but for now this is what I've got.
