Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / My Tribute to Crimson Echoes

I'm sure there's probably dozens of tributes now for Crimson Echoes, but I just felt compelled to make my own after watching the walkthrough (all 12 hours of it 
). Since money is obviously not an option at this point, I consider this my compensation for 12 hours worth or entertainment and nostalgia

My Thoughts on Crimson Echoes: To me, every moment of watching it felt like watching a part of chrono trigger I had never seen. Everything seemed so.. real, and believable. When I look back on this game in the future, and speak of it, I will most likely speak of it as if it were truth, as if it were an actual part of the chrono series. To me this is the sequel (prequel? midquel?) that us fans will never get.. and because of SE still won't get.
The video I made, aside from the song I remixed myself, gives insight towards the game and the story behind it. Hopefully inspiring others to look into the series. I shall say it's my part in spreading the word

this is cute, i like that they used an unconventional method to advertise the game, where the sprites pop out of the snes and into the ds, rather than the normal cutscenes followed by game footage type of commercial

im sure this has been discussed before.. but ive been wondering how, from 65 billion BC, all the way up to 2300 AD people were all speaking the same language. I know its obviously because its a video game and im overthinking this but, in 65 billion BC ayla points out that lavos was a name she created (la=fire vos=big). does this not mean that they do speak another language? how are they communicating?
they should have put a universal language analyser in the game, like say when you go into the future. that way it would be explained and that when theyre in 65 billion BC they could have been like 'how am i understanding you?' 'oh yeah we got this universal translating thing'

I found this quote on wikipedia: 'A new acoustic arrangement of the music from Chrono Cross has been quoted by Mitsuda as planned for release in 2006, despite it being previously rumored to emerge in July of 2005.[4]'
i was wondering, is there such an album in existance? ive never heard it (or heard of it)
also, to add this such a topic, does anyone have any of his independant, non game related, music or albums that they may 'share' with the community, perhaps the album sailing to the world (im not saying i wouldnt pay for such an album, but i think itd be kind of hard to)

so friday was my schools talent show, and being my last year (not really, im going back but its just going to be a victory lap) i wanted to do something special, something that means alot to me. so in the end it was obvious i would pull one of mitsudas pieces from my set of tabs (and by that i mean the internet).

also, on a side note i remember them talking about how they added songs to brawl that werent a part of any of the characters series' from the game, such as the japan only gameboy game called X.
well, the chrono series is highly appreciated for its music, and mitsuda is working with them, so im hoping for maybe a hidden track or two?

So basically i spent a long period of time looking (not online) for a playstation, controller, memory card and chrono cross, just so i can finally find out how it stacks up to chrono trigger
Now that i finally have all that, ive been playing it quite alot, and im now at the point where im lynx and im JUST about to turn back into serge
THE PROBLEM IS during the cutscene where he changing back, the game freezes. Ive tried so many times but it continues freezing at the exact same point
So i asked my friend who also has chrono cross if i could borrow his and explained to him what happened with mine. But the thing is, his game freezes at the EXACT same spot!
and now im super pissed cause i was finally about to become serge again
does anyone elses game do that as well? since my friend's does too
