Chrono Trigger: 2 The Future! Directors XCut
thats right everybdoy my project is back and more intense then ever!!! chrono trigger two the future (to the future) is my idea of what happened after the timeline diverged forllowing the end of it. but my main concern is that this is no "literal" tale. there will be a LOT of darkness in this game, but balanced with humor. i guess adjectives i would throw out to describe it are "addictive," "unexpecting," and "edgy."
here are a few screenshots to show off the work; all sprites are custom made!! most by me but some by a few special friends! please note that it is a MAJOR WIP in progress. thank you please enjoy!! it will be out next a few months.

Story: it has been 5 years since they defeated lavos................ and now a mysterious stranger will do ANYTHING to make them in misery..................................... this is the story of what happened after the fated day of lavos and how each of the characters went about their daily lifes after sagving the world??? ok.
I will post new progress on the game in this topic.

It all started when The Princess came to Zenan! She was just a young actor then trying to make her way in the Mushroom Kingdom until one day when she fell into a time portal... SUDDENLY she wasn't in the Mushroom Kingdom anymore... it was Chrono!
The Princess was walking through he garden one day smelling her flowers. She had recently banished King Koopa to the Dinosaur world and was taking a short vacation. Suddenly her sister Peach walked by. Peach said "Hello sister The Princess, I see you're enjoying those flowers. But you are not doing your subjects any favors!" The Princess replied snootily "Well I'd like to see you rule you just wanna act in those games with that plumbscumb Mario!" Peach replied with steam coming out her ears almost "You... you... DOUBLE CARPENTER LOVER." and stormed off.
The Princess wasn't bothered by this though, her sister was known for her quick temper and jealousy. She had recently been flirting with the CEO of Nintendo Movie Co. She wanted a role in the new Mario games they were making. The Princess stooped down to sniff a flower. She had never seen anything like this before... it was... blue! She screamed because things like this just don't happen.
SUDDENLY... a timegate opened! She wasn't in the Mushroom Kingdom anymore... it was Chrono!
Next time on time keeps on slipping Chrono and Ayla discuss their plans to take back the dino caves of Choras. There was some seismic activity there earlier and everyone knows that can only mean one thing... TIME TRAVELLERS!

CHAPTER 1
Chrono is a humble young man having grown up in the village of truce with his mother. Chrono is ten times better than linky boy anyday. Chrono is a skill user of the katana and has some strong lighting magic. Chrono is obviously eager to go and participate at the fair. Fair is out of the ordinary it is observing reality. Gato is a weapon and is a ladies man. Chrono is clearly stronger and quick witted.
Marle is a rowdy young girl. Marle is a girl crono meets at the millenium fair. Marle is the first person to join the main character's party. Lucca is Chrono's best friend. Lucca is known all over truce as "the girl who makes silly inventions that never work. Lucca is impressed by marle's beauty and the fact that crono was able to get her to come along with him. New Invention is a diamond in the rough. The Display is a feast for the eyes. Chrono is invited to come try it out. The gate is open. Marle is sucked into The gate.
Chrono is walking you see his long hair move. Chrono is suddenly pulled back by someone. Lucca is astonished. Chrono is going to use lucca's teleporter to go find marle.
Chrono is a quiet teenager who is thrown four hundred years into the past. Monster is coming! Chrono is really gonna chew you out for this! Attack is upward. Monster is assaulted. Castle is located on a steep slope in a commanding position overlooking waterford estuary. Queen is most anxious. Queen is gone. Lucca is just an hour away. Lucca is only 10 minutes away. Lucca is understandable. Lucca is explaining away. Princess is missing!
