Kajar Laboratories / Re: Chrono-thematic MU*

As an active player on 'is MU*, I can assure you that there's no lack'a really awesome roleplay ta be had 'ere. Need proof? Check out th' logs found at th' LiveJournal community(the official log database an' semi-sort'a forum) at http://www.livejournal.com/community/chronomuck! Jus' recently, a massively intense TP(TinyPlot -- basically, an extended period of roleplay revolving around one or more plot points spanning over the course of more than one day; usually several days' or possibly weeks' time) involvin' most'a th' main crew'a Chrono Trigger as well as some'a th' Chrono Cross characters an' others still. This lead into another TP, though. Chain of events, an' all that. X3

Plenty'a Chrono characters 'r still open, folks! Jus' log in an' take a peek at our User List ta see who's available an' who's not. Original characters accepted provided they fit in wid th' theme an' aren't overly-powered without good an' logical reasons. Though keep in mind... This is a Chrono MUCK. Though, there is an off-shoot, as you'll see if ya hit th' website, called "Twisted World" where pretty much anythin' goes. All characters of all types an' all that. Usually, Twisted World an' "Chronos" dun intermingle...but sometimes... ...well...I dun wanna spoil too much. *wink*

So come on down, stop on by, hop an Epoch an' fly, to a one-of-a-kind Chrono-tastic experience! :D

Edit:
Should I pass on the message that Zeality said hello? Or perhaps you could simply stop by yourself and do the same. ;)
Ya know... Z-Man said fer me ta say th' same thing ta 'im... Totally fergot ta pass it along. >_o;

...so let's talk about food we like!

I've recently come across a neato use fer SPAM which I know is gonna make a lotta people either cheer or wretch. :D

Take a can of SPAM or SPAM-like luncheon meat. Slice it up all super-thin sliced.(A food processor works wonders fer this task!) Put a small pan on yer stovetop an' let it get hot. Pan fry th' SPAM like bacon. Th' SPAM won't actually crinkle up like bacon, but it will become hot and crispy! Once yer done, put th' pan-fried SPAM on to a plate lined with a paper towel. Viola! "Meat Chips"! If ya do it right, it's not hugely greasy an' man is it delicious!

What's some of your favorite foods and/or ways to prepare it? ^_^

Edit: I say "wretch" because SPAM was a common food fer soldiers ta eat due to th' fact it could keep fer exceedingly long periods of time. Plus, some people jus' DON'T LIKE SPAM.

Um... It was also stated that Square would more than likely be physically unable ta assemble th' "Dream Project Team" back fer another go due ta everything that's been happenin'... Akira Toriyama's workin' onna new game righ' now, fer example, called "Blue Dragon".(Or it migh' be Bird Studio... I didn' check.) Everyone else's off doin' their own projects as well... So unfortunately, it does sort'a come down ta "They're all too busy". >_o;

A'right... It's not that fanfiction some'a you might'a seen me mention, bu' they're still awesome. :D Though there's a good chance you won't get th' first one unless you've played Star Control II: The Ur-Quan Masters a good ways through... X3

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Re: Mystic Eyes in Chrono Trigger

DBZ should never be brought up anywhere.

Ever.
To each their own, I s'pose... *puts something in her signature just ta spite 'im* <3(*not really, but it sure works out like that, doesn't it?*)

Anyway, I'm not sure I can really think of any other examples of eye colors changin' that dun involve naughty stuffs or Dragon Ball Z, bu' yer more than welcome ta find and/or make s'more evidence that proves eye-color corrisponds ta magical prowess, babe. I'm not hones'ly sayin' it dun, but I ain' sayin' it does, either. I mean, let's look at some examples...

Ayla - Green eyes, no magic.
Crono - Green eyes, Sky magic.
Glenn - Golden/Blue* eyes, Water magic.
Lucca - Sky blue eyes, Fire magic.
Maou - Dull green, then blood red eyes, all magics(with Shadow affinity).
Marle - Green eyes, Water magic.(Ice sub-magic.)

Dalton - Black(...?) eye, Void and Copy magic.
Gran and Leon - Green-blue eyes, Sky magic.
Mayonnaise - Pink-grey eyes, Void magic.
Vinegar - Golden eyes, all magics.
Queen Zeal - Grey-green eyes, all magics.
Sara - Soft green eyes, unknown magic.(Assumed "all magics".)

Far as I can see, there's absolutely no constant in eyes or elements. It's all jus' kind'a random... Well, 'cept wid maybe th' Zeal family. They all seem ta have green eyes. Bu' still!

*grins* Yes, Genowing. "New Game +" was indeed in th' Japanese version! Otherwise, how'd you get all those shiny extra endings, like th' "Dream Team" endin'? X3

That's kind'a interesting...except that Goku's and other Saiya-jin's eyes turn green...not blue...when they go Super Saiya-jin. Emerald-green. Also, Saiya-jin power isn't "magic" as we usually define magicks, though Mana and Ki are essentially th' same, I s'pose... Still...

Please try your call again later. :x

Sometimes I do it, sometimes I dun. Usually, it jus' comes naturally, bu' sometimes, I gotta think 'bout it. :x

Interesting. The Poi Soup is really "Rock Crash Cocktail." The entire group of adventures gets plastered from that party. Everyone has a hang over and Ayla throws up at the Reptite Lair instead of burping.
Well duh. *cackles* But I didn't know about Ayla hurling. Hah hah! Hilarious... X3

I have a suggestion for th' Encyclopedia. Instead of leavin' th' category currently marked "Sword" fer Crono's swords, why not change it to "Katana"? As it stands, "Sword" links to not only Chrono's swords, but Frog's swords, th' Chrono Cross swords, and th' Radical Dreamers swords!(Meanwhile, "Broadsword" only links ta Frog's stuff.) Wha'd'ya say?

Also, since I'm here, Crono's "Swallow" also links ta all of Serge's Swallows as well as th' stats fer Crono's Swallow. How about doin' like Wikipedia an' specifying? Like...instead of "Swallow," use "Swallow (Chrono Trigger)"? I dunno... Just a thought!

Keep up th' good work, folks!

I agree. However, much like almost any given last-generation systems, they seem to get off on the wrong foot somehow or another. This time, it just so happens that the mass demand for the system and shortage of systems turned a lot of people away. In some cases, the price -- which is about the same price you'd pay for a high-end computer, by the way -- also turned certain folks away. Couple this with the fact that the launch titles are horrible and you've got yourself one Hell of a bomb.

The system itself, however, is magnificent. Beautiful visuals(...you can only appreciate on an HD TV...), higher sound quality(...you'd only notice if you have a really keen ear...), backwards compatability with (certain)PS2 and (less)PS-X games, motion sensor controls(which were patented before Nintendo's), access to a number of classic PS-X games(...if you have a PSP as well...), Blu-Ray DVDs(...no comment...)... Yes sir... For (upwards of)$600.00, you really are gettin' a great piece'a hardware!(Too bad th' software sucks right now. :D)
