Characters, Plot, and Themes / Re: Saving Kid at the orphanage

I guess that's true; it doesn't matter because of the Ideal Timeline.  But throughout the game, shouldn't there have been a hint that Kid realizes it was Serge the one who saved her?  Just like Serge remembered (I'm thinking of the one FMV where Kid is on the beach, turns around, and offers her hand to someone, as I think the whole thing is supposed to be Serge's memory) when he was saved by Kid?  Not that it would be a major point or something, it would just add another level to their relationship.

I have a quick question about that whole episode.  Did the power of the Masamune actually send Serge back in time to save Kid (thus having all sorts of wonderful effects for Kid's relationship with Serge) or was the whole sequence just a facsimile created by Kid's mind?  I ask this because I'm in the process of planning a fic, and this will play a part in it.  Of course, I may just go with what I think is better ;p

But you know, I didn't like the way Harle made her exit in the game.  When you meet her at Chronopolis, it's pretty much "Hey Serge!  Big Gulps huh?  Well, see ya later!" and that's the end of it.  I think they should've gone for more dramatic impact.  It makes me wanna write a fic to fix that, though xDDDD

Speaking on this whole Kid-Harle connection, in one of the endings Harle says something funny.  It's the ending where Harle and Serge (in Lynx's body, of course) are on Marbule and helping the demi-humans.  At the end, Harle is telling Serge how he is needed in Marbule, and then she says "Don't worry, I will be by your side...Serge..."  That just struck me as something Kid would say.  Now maybe my opinion has been tainted by all the stuff I've been reading of the connection between Kid and Harle, and perhaps I'm looking for things that aren't there, but that really struck me as a very odd line

Now now guys, we all know Ancient Greek is the best language xD  But really, crapass vocals?  C'mon now.  The song wouldn't be the same without 'em.  It is fun to play on guitar, though.

Holy crap, I just found out that they're coming to Fort Worth in Janurary 2008.  I am freakin' there.  Anywho, they sound great, especially "Time's Scar".  Such an incredible song.  I hope they put out a DVD or CD of this at some point in the future.

Does anyone know of any places?  I've looked far and wide across the innerwebs, and for the most part I've come up empty handed (though I found a place that has a sweet Serge keychain for sale!)  Any ideas?  Or am I about 7 years too late to get into collecting Chrono Cross stuff?

Hey, I'm new here.  I've been a fan of the Chrono series since waaay back when Chrono Trigger came out on SNES (though, kinda funny story, I never actually beat Chrono Trigger till about 2 years ago when I bought Final Fantasy Chronicles, because I never bought CT for the SNES; I only rented it and I never got through it.  I also had a ROM of it on my computer some years ago but I got stuck on Lavos and I kinda just forgot about it -_-).  Anyways, all digressions aside, I hope we can all have lots of great discussions on the genius that is the Chrono series xD
