Kajar Laboratories / Sprite Artists and Chipset Wanted
« on: March 17, 2006, 11:53:38 pm »
Could somebody please create a spritesheet of Gaspar that is compatible with RPG Maker 2003?

The game only supplies the front view of Gaspar, making it impossible for me to rip his side views.

Also, can somebody else also please supply me with a chipset of Death's Peak, or just a mountain with snow

General Discussion / Whats your Chrono Trigger Story?
« on: March 12, 2006, 03:05:32 pm »
I was only about 6 (or 7 maybe) when I first played Chrono Trigger.
I remember renting it and somehow placing the rom in 2 floppy disks and playing it on my Super Nintedo with something called a Game Doctor (extracts roms from the cartride and copies them to floppy disks to play via game doctor port)

Back then, Chrono Trigger was really hard for me.  The game even erased a few times (since the floppy disks are so unreliable) and I only reached to the boss battle with Magus.

A few years later, I remember picking up Chrono Trigger again.  This time, if i remember correctly, I was able to get to the Lavos Core.  However, I was unable to beat it.  Once again, I just stopped playing, and eventually the game save deleted again (floppy disks suck).

Once again, after a few years I bought the PSX version of Chrono Trigger.  This time I reached the Boss Battle with Azala.  I got bored with Chrono Trigger and moved to different things.

A few weeks ago, I took up Chrono Trigger again.  This time, I played it on my PSP with a SNES emulator.  I became obssessed with it and beat it under a week.  For once, I actually beat the Lavos Core and won.  I'm 15 now.

Looking back over the years, I find my Chrono Trigger story pretty strange and somewhat unique.  (playing with floppy disks on the SNES?!)
So, whats your Chrono Trigger story?

Kajar Laboratories / Crono Sprites
« on: March 11, 2006, 09:25:43 am »
Does anybody have some sprites of Crono moving 'diagonally'
i need them to complete the diagonal movement in my fangame Chrono Limit.

I need the following diagonal sprites.
Up-Left Diagonal
Up-Right Diagonal
Down-Left Diagonal
Down-Right Diagonal
Left-Up Diagonal
Left-Down Diagonal
Right-Up Diagonal
Right-Down Diagonal

Please don't be confused by the Up-Left Diagonal and the Left-Up Diagonal.  They are not the same thing.  Chrono Trigger movement has 2 different sprites for each diagonal movement, depending on which button is pushed first.

General Discussion / How Old Are You?
« on: March 05, 2006, 10:11:10 pm »
After reading many posts, I've realized that some people seem to be very well educated.  This topic is to find the general age group that comes to Chrono Compendium.

I, myself, am only 15 years old.

General Discussion / Using Chrono Symphonic

Am I allowed to use the Chrono Symphonic Tracks in my fangame, Chrono Limit?

Just checking to make sure I'm not doing anything bad.

Kajar Laboratories / Chrono RPG Fangame Ideas
« on: February 25, 2006, 06:05:57 pm »
I am fairly experianced with RPG Maker 2000, 2003, and a little bit of XP

After replaying Chrono Trigger, I decided to make a fangame.
However, i need some help coming up with some ideas and a title

i would prefer ideas involving the main characters of chrono trigger (since i have all of their sprites)

i would also like to implement the many Principloes of Time and Dimensional Travel to create a complex but organized story

Could someone please help me come up with a few ideas?
