In one of the End of Time threads, wasn't it theorized that the Mystic Mountain Gate is connected to the 1000 AD Mystic's House Gate? If so, then Kino would theoretically come from 1000 AD, though as has been said, a most likely very different 1000 AD.

If we're talking about odd dimensionel places, how about the Corridors of Time in RD? Any idea about that? They seem to show everyone's past, present, and future, a bit like the EoT.

Maybe not relevant, but the music piece played in most of Zeal is called "Corridors of Time"... Probably no connection, though.

This is how I see it:

The Timeline is a sequence of events. Person A exists at 2000 AD on the timeline. He goes back to 1000 AD, and is immediately disconnected from the timeline that created him, in fact from 1000 AD on the Events are rewritten to fit the new timeline. The former sequence is discarded. Thus, even if he goes on a shooting spree and kills his great-great-great ancestor, he will still live, as he has been disconnected from the Timeline and still exists. If he goes to 2000 AD, he will end up in a different time. However, if an alternate Person A exists said alternate will be eliminated on the return of the original Person A.

Does that make sense?

What happens to Dalton following the Fall of Zeal in the Lavos Timeline?
At first, I assumed that he proceeded as he did in the game, but his "Kingdom of Zeal" (If I recall, he proclaimed himself "King Dalton" or some such) may have lasted longer, as the Earthbound and Surviving Enlightened were rather weak.
However, after a bit of thought, I believe that Dalton either died in the Fall of Zeal, or was defeated anyway in the Lavos Timeline. If Dalton managed to create a long-lasting Kingdom, it would have presumably had an affect on time. Now, I do not mean that he could establish a Kingdom lasting 13,000 Years! However, there would be some affect, as having a ruling state rather than a disorganized village in that time would affect any states that came after it... In my opinion, likely eliminating the Kingdom of Guardia from coming about or having it become very different...

Sentenal, did you not read my post?  I showed in no uncertain terms (using direct evidence from the game) that both King Guardia XXXIII and his wife Aliza are directly descended from King Guardia XXI and Queen Leene.  This means, of course, that Marle's parents are distant cousins.  The only way to refute this would be to ignore some of the comments made by the game's NPCs.  In other words, it's irrefutable.

Could Aliza not simply be a Guardian noblewoman of a branch of the Guardia Royal Family? For example, say Queen Leene had two sons. One became King Guardia XXII, and the other (we'll call him Paul) simply becomes a noble. Later on, King Guardia XXXIII marries a woman from Paul's branch of the royal family, Aliza...

Hm.. I'm confused, why does the inheritance have to be odd?
I see it like this:

So if 600ad King Guardia's successor is not born because Leene is out of the chain, then the royal line (if it even exists anymore in the alt-1000) is completely different, so Princess Nadia is not born.

Actually, I think that was the Day of Lavos... Doesnt Lavos come out of the ground? And Porre is also mentioned as being attacked... I know "BUT THE FUTURE REFUSED TO CHANGE" shows up in the Lavos Ending... (Because the Future (2300 AD) refused to change (It was still destroyed)...

My theory is that Lavos created the Gates as a simple way of dispersing unwanted people to time periods where they wont cause trouble... Think about it, Lavos has teleported people to all time periods (Janus from 12000 to 600, Melchior from 12000 to 1000, Belthasar from 12000 to 2300, The party from 600 to 65000000), every time period except 1999, which the only gate to exists in a bucket, apart from the other gates... The Gates are only supposed to be one way, Lavos drops person into stream and the come out somewhere else, but going through them with Lavos depends on the Gate's relation in the Time-tunnel, or something like that... The gates were only made visible when Marle accidentaly activated the Gates through the Telepod. The Gate Key serves as a means of "forcing open" the gates... And as for Dinopolis, the planet did that, but was too weakened by Lavos in CT to do anything

Actually, I think the Entity-Planet is by far the most plausible... But I had never thought of that while playing CT...

The face knows Serge's name because Serge has a nametag that says "SERGE".. you just cant see it due to the fact that only faces in Terra Tower can see it... an odd effect of dimensional travel, of course

The problem with that is (going by the idea that the minds of characters "create" the EoT/BoT using things they're familiar with..) is that there is no other area in CT that looks like the EoT (I havent replayed CC inawhile, so I'm not sure abot that...), so how could it be made out of things they are familiar with?
