What most likely happened here is that he had a stroke? Did you pay attention to the part about the ceiling in the aircraft hitting his head? Someone I knew, his dad died the same way. He was pistol-whipped on the head and died a couple days later. You don't notice if a clot forms and then BAM you just die. I bet that's how it happened.

Anyways, I second the idea that it was due to head trauma. His plane landed and the front wheel exploded, it's not like it was just turbulence in the air or something. It was a forceful impact.

Ed McMahon was very old, and lived a good, full life.
But Billy Mays was on Conan's show five days ago. I just watched that last night. The guy may have been on drugs, that's not for me to say. But it's just as likely that he wasn't on drugs, in fact moreso. This celebrity death seems like a true freak accident.
