Zeality is right. There are several games I never experienced when they were out. Even some of the ones I have experienced when they were out, playing them now is not fun. There are some games that just do not age well. Mario kart, in my opinion is one of those series that do not age well.

I wonder what I would think of DKC, one of my favorite games, if I were to play it for the first time now.

My my my, look what I started

A simple google image search does wonders...

The Lost Sanctum - Completed Items / Re: Chrono Cross Ending Enigma

Lol, this topic is funny and rather pointless. Eventually i'll be making videos of the programmers ending. I have a gameshark, so i'll mess around while recording. That way it can be settled once and for all.

If I had the PSX version of chrono trigger (which I may buy at some point) I would record all the openings for you in high resolution. Unfortunately I do not, sorry :(

I don't really know a lot about radical dreamers. I will say that cross has some dialogue from radical dreamers (at least I think it's from the game) that suggests that the game took place in a different dimension.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. As for radical dreamers, isn't that totally disjointed from the others? Besides a reference from it in cross, doesn't it take place in a different dimension?

Another point zeality makes, if he realized it or not.

Chrono Trigger was never set up to be a direct sequel. How could it be when all the characters moved on with their lives and returned to the appropriate timelines? It would be be downright silly pairing them all up again for another crazy adventure. If they did that, it would be a lot like how zeality said the sequel should have been like. It just doesn't work.

A sequel to cross? Yes, that could certainly happen and it not be totally lame. Though I would much prefer if SE ever gives FF a rest, that they would make another sequel like chrono cross. It may be a bit difficult, but with some creative writing it's possible.

Wow, that's awesome for showing my hard work to the community, Zeality  :D. Certainly gives me a lot of motivation to refine it further.

Also, great job molotov on your speed run. I am seriously looking forward to seeing it on SDA. I wonder what new tricks you have up your sleeve. I learned the profiteer purse trick from you.

It gives you an opportunity to be a nice guy or a jerk. To be honest i've always given it to them for free. I would feel pretty awful if I said anything else. I wonder what their response would be?

For viper manor I chose guile's path.
I chose to save kid.
I also did every sidequest I could think of to do.

I will be covering the other paths eventually. At the moment i'm just burned out on making chrono cross videos, since i've done so many recently.

Thank you :) and I wasn't too sure where to post it myself. If a moderator would like to move it, feel free.

The purpose of the videos is to do a complete walkthrough of the game, not do a video version of a text dump. As I already said, videos will be released later on to cover new game+.

It's very easy to understand what my videos are about if you look at them.

I didn't know where else to post this, so I will post it here. I have been doing a chrono cross video walkthrough which I completed yesterday.

Now for some history.

I started this walkthrough on June 17th 2008. Since then I learned a lot about Chrono Cross itself, video recording, and video quality. The videos start out with average quality up until part 26. Then the video quality keeps improving from there. My videos were recorded on emulator up until part 37. From then on it's recorded straight off my PS1.

My videos also are heavily edited later on. This is because the length of the walkthrough was too long, so I cut out several things from the video to save the viewers time. My videos from part 37 and beyond do not have the high quality option for some strange reason. This can be enabled manually by adding &fmt=18 to the end of a video link. Some of my videos include well placed annotations as well, to further explain things in the game.

I added that extra information so you know what to expect from my videos. There are other chrono cross walkthroughs available on youtube. I consider mine the best because it goes for 100% and covers all aspects of the game and generally has the best video and sound quality.

There were some things missed during my walkthrough, such as new game+, some techs, treasures, different paths, and characters. Obviously not everything can be covered in one playthrough.

I will be covering those in my Missing Pieces series which will be released on youtube later on. I will more than likely have videos dedicated to certain parts of the game, such as showing all techs, showing how to obtain all techs, and so forth. So technically it's not 100% yet, but it will be eventually. It takes a lot of time to make my chrono cross videos. At this point though, the walkthrough is complete in that it covers the game from beginning to end.

I was wondering if this walkthrough could be added onto the compendium website. Or perhaps put on the news section?

Anyway, here is the link to my youtube channel.
