How do you like any of these songs besides Blue Mined God?

I don't care if they are actual remixes and take more time, if they suck.
You must love that type of sound I guess.
That weird guitar synth that makes it sound all dark and twangy. I can't even describe it, sort of like a car grumbling.

I only hear that sound in beatdrop's and only for the beginning really...and anyways, I think that kind of dark, distortion-filled industrial sound is very fitting for Magus. When I was writing Magness, I'd always turn on Temporal Rehab or Decay of Hope to really get into the mood of Magus. I also love the quotes in Decay of Hope...even if they are of stupid Vin Diesel...>_> Huh, I actually haven't re-dled Blue Minded God...it was never my fav of the bunch...I don't recall why...maybe because it was too similar to the original? *shrugs* I'll go get it again, I guess...

EDIT2: Ah, I'm listening to Blue Minded God now...I think I didn't care for the addition of that weird sound effect...I forget what it was...Was it a laugh or something? I didn't like it in Magus' Theme, I guess...small thing, but yeah, just doesn't click as fitting for me...otherwise, yeah, it's a great mellow rendition w/nice piano & nice bassline.

That laugh was in his castle theme I think. Like when you were running around. I honestly forget when it's played really.

I did enjoy that other remix you posted though. It was good.

To me a remix needs to sound similar to the song it is remixing. The main melody has to be identifiable. While it is possible to hear the Magus theme in the first 3 you listed, it is very difficult to pick it out sometimes, and I don't like that as much. I dunno, those are just the kind of remixes I like I guess. The ones with a more classic feel to them, more closely related to the source material.

Simply put, to each his own.
