My personal thought is to have her end up in 1999 or 2300 AD, to begin with.

The Gurus and Janus weren't sent through Time-Error... >.> Lavos mucks around with TIME, not TIME-ERROR. It's an important distinction. Gates do not let you travel through Time-Error. Not even the Ocean Palace ones.

But bah, this is pointless. Rox has already decided.

Further thoughts; I think 2300 AD will be better than 1999 AD coz 1999 doesn't really have any citizen sprites and what not although it doesn't have a full map either which could be useful being able to make up crazy new places and stuff,

meh, opinions anyone?

That's sort of what they're doing in CE.  I know in CE Schala is in it and it helps bridge the gap between what occur at the Ocean Palace Disaster and how she ends up merging with Lavos to form the Time Devourer.

You could always do something like that, seeing as how any fan project is nothing more than fan non-canon anyway.  Have fun with it!  Just make sure it's got a good story to help explain things.

I look forward to the mod because the sprites / spell idea's are most excellent.

Arris Dome had no portal Yourgingerestfan.  That was Bangor dome I believe...Arris dome was where they found out about 1999 AD.  I don't know guys but...just her being thrown into 2300 AD then heading to 600 AD seems a bit odd to me.  I like the starting off at 2300 AD...but 600 AD?  I think it'd be more of a reaction if you randomly encountered her at the End of Time or something.  It just seems awkward to me, but go with what you want.

You could add a Time Distortion area that the team accidentally ends up in, or you could add another room to the End of Time or something.  Make make it that you actually have to do a little bit of work to get Schala.

Alright, are we actually gonna add her as a character or make a separate game or make it that you play as her and at some point you join up with Crono and the rest of the party?

Well that should depend on how much man power you have, and how much modding experience.  If you guys are familiar with Temporal Flux by all means, make a small fan game akin to Prophet's Guile.  If not, just take a stab at modding the game to add Schala to it.  Once you do that and get more familiar with Temporal Flux, you can think about expanding the content.

Adding Schala via graphics is going to take more then just throwing her graphics over someone.  You're more then likely going to have to do some Sprite Assembly, so beware of that.
