I learned relatively recently from my dad that I was conceived in the Monterey Bay area of central coastal California. I had never thought about it. I was born in Los Angeles and lived there for three years. I lived in the mountains of Big Bear for another year. Then I lived in the Mojave Desert of Southern California for the remainder of my childhood and adolescence.

I moved to Seattle for college at the UW, and I have now lived in this city for nine years and a few weeks.

East Coast USA. I live five blocks away from the beach and in spring and fall it's fantastic. In the summer and winter, though, the weather is very screwy.

I lived in the USSR from birth to 5 years old
Denver, Colorado from 5-9 years old
North Bay Area, California from almost 10-18 years old
Santa Cruz for College
Japan for 1.5 years
And now in Silicon Valley. I lived here for the last year of college before I went to Japan. I really like it here, but I'm pretty sure I'm moving out of state as soon as I'm done with grad school.

I just realized that I never posted in here...LOL...

Was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived there until I was 4 & 1/2.

My grandfather (dad's dad) died and we had to move to Washington state to deal with his stuff/house, and we ended up staying here. Moved quite a lot of times all over the western part of the state while I was younger, though, because of how messed up our finances have always been. Currently reside in the part of Seattle known as Magnolia (which is just a 20 minute busride from the downtown area).
