The portals are closed sometimes after Lavos is killed so Magus found some other way of time traveling

True they did close so he probably found a way using magic or something...

he most likely did use some form of magic, and because we don't know the extent of Magus' magical knowledge, it can be easily made a theory he did.

Actually, we have no idea if the gate of where-ever Magus goes out is closed. For 'certain' we only know that the gate at the fairgrounds are closed.

And also, since we don't know where (much less IF) Radical Dreamers stems off from Chrono Trigger...We don't have enough information to determine whether or not the gates are closed in Radical Dreamer World/Timeline/Dimension/Universe (w/e).

yes, only becuase RD has no evidence that the Gates are open or closed. I never thought about it before, but what if some1 remade RD into a true RPG? Not text-based, but still following the same storyline of course?

I am wondering why would the gate in Leene Square would closed (closing the only gate leading to 600 AD in the process) and some other gate would remain open?

Yeah cause it seemed to me that all the gates were closing for good, but we just see the one at Leene Square.  To me the game suggested that all gates would close.

Intrestingly enough, everyone go through one gate, and end up in different points on the time-line, plus the fact that after your first visit there, all gates lead to the End of Time, instead. Meaning, the end of time is simpley sealed off so no one can ever cross it again.

Hmmm... I didn't think of that, but in the beginning of the game the portals don't connect to the End of Time and there are points in the game where the portals don't go to the End of Time, like when you first get to Zeal in 12,000 B.C. (I think thats the correct date).

Yes, I know. That made me feel rather reluctant to post. Still, it's kind of a plot hole. When you go to 600 AD after you return from the future, the gate is unlocked in the End of Time, but sends you to the End of Time instead of straight to Truce Canyon. It's a very odd plot-hole, I think.

Maybe Crono and co. can reach the End of Time from any gate.  After all the points in the game where the gates don't connect to the End of Time are usually new gates that they just found.

Or, maybe it was a matter of desire. Say, when you just jump between timelines, going from known gate to another, you want to prepare, or maybe ask Gasper for advice (He is your guide during your game, and does instruct you many times on your next objective). Say, with the gate to Zeal, they wanted to find out what that new time was! Or, with 600 AD, they wanted to stop Magus from "creating" Lavos.

True.  So maybe it is just a desire to reach the End of Time that allows travel to it from any gate.

So if Crono wanted to go to the End of Time he just had to have the desire to go there and one time travel later he's there.
