This is a very simple trivia but maybe some people didn't noticed it:

Belthasar designed both the Blackbird and the Sylbird.
Yeah, they are blackbird and silverbird of course.

シルバード

Silver -- シルバー
                   バード --Bird

Sometimes it's the simplest things that prove the most mind-warping.

It's what they called Epoch in Japanese version.

"Sylbird" = Epoch?  I thought it was "Silvard".

V and B sounds are almost interchangeable in Japanese, sort of like L and R.

Here's one from Chrono Cross:

From the 6 dragons, 3 exist in each world.

The ones that exist in Home World, the Green Dragon, Earth Dragon and Water Dragon, are modeled after the ancient Chinese dragon shape, whiskers and all.

The ones that exist in Another World, the Fire Dragon, the Black Dragon and the Sky Dragon, are modeled after the European, King Arthur dragon shape, with wings and and a lizard like face.

I always thought it was interesting that the Dragons weren't split like everything else. I also remember the Sky Dragon being the hardest boss in the game for me to beat, although Black Dragon was up there.

Does anyone else wonder how the Chancellor got the Dragon Tank all the way up there in the first place?

Depending on where did the tank started. If there was some sort of room up there and wide and tall enough corridors, then it's easy to figure it out.

If the tank was kept somewhere below, then considering it's 1000 AD an elevator of some kind couldn't be that hard to imagine, plus the above. That is my guess.

Hammerspace, or a Poké Ball.

Maybe it's always been up there.

In the spirit of the thread:

Yakra shares a few design similarities with Lavos. Both appear as dome-like creatures with weird little leg-spikes comming out from underneath, and Yakra's needle attack is shared by the Lavos Spawn and Lavos itself (with different names and power levels).

I always thought it was interesting that the Dragons weren't split like everything else. I also remember the Sky Dragon being the hardest boss in the game for me to beat, although Black Dragon was up there.

If I recall right, they were split and the duplicates were squished... ah, here we go:

Quote
Question: Why do Lynx, Harle and the Six Dragon Gods exist in only one of Home World and Another World?

Answer: Regarding the Six Dragon Gods, originally they existed in two dimensions, but it was made such that each in either word was destroyed. As for Lynx and Harle, there were two of them but Lynx and Harle disappeared in the Dead Sea in Home World.

Not very definite, admittedly, and there are no real details as to what that means.

Magus wears what appears t be a metal garter on his right leg over his pants.

Why the hell is he wearing a metal garter over his pants?

I wouldn't call it a garter...I think it's just a metal band or strap. Maybe something happened to his leg at some point? Maybe he just likes incredibly minimalistic armor to mock his foes? Maybe he keeps jelly beans in his pants leg and doesn't want them to drop down into his boot? Maybe Toriyama just stuck it in there so he'd be less symmetrical? Isn't that a maths thing? Asymmetry=Badass?

I've seen that somewhere before...

I think Kakashi wears one, so it might be a ninja thing.
