Keep in mind that it's pretty much a different game altogether. The Chrono Crisis game which is in development was restarted from scratch and will be much better (Chains of Fate doesn't say it but honestly, this old demo sucks compared to what the real game will be :) ).

You need RPGMaker 2003 to run the ancient Chrono Crisis demo.

They're not releasing any new demos. I can agree with that, since playing the full game right away will be amazing.

They're not releasing any demos at all.  They might change their minds though.  Also, note to Nightmare.  I'll be going really slow on Time's Illusions due to being in Chrono Crisis again .__.

No, in order to run the old demo you MUST have RPG Maker 2003, and I think the same is true of the new game as well, but it's easy enough to find online with a Google search.

Yeah, most likely. There's a feature for that on RPG Maker, after all.
